💡What to do as a High School ⚾️ Prospect wanting to play ball in College ✅Understand that being patient right now is critical - the portal is the #1 priority for coaches into next week ✅Put an urgent request in with your school about obtaining your EOY transcript asap ✅Update your Twitter Profile - if I were to look at it, do I know everything about you, can I tell a story about who you are as a student-athlete ✅Prioritize College Camps over Showcase events as you map out your next 90 days ✅Have someone objective evaluate your college list….you may not like their $0.02 but it’ll help ✅2026’s - you should be emailing entire coaching staff’s, DM’ing coaches, and already have filled out their Questionnaires. If you are not getting replies, receiving zero interest, reevaluate your list and ask yourself WHY? Is it your ability, academic profile, or lack of a true connection to the program ✅2027’s - coaches will be interested in you moreso in July and early August - again, build your list, follow the programs and coaches on X, email all of them, find out where they’ll be this summer, fill out their recruiting questionnaires, and inquire with someone objective if your “talented enough” to be a prospect those schools would consider ✅2028’s - ENJOY this summer, you should not have pressure on you at all this summer. Consider a camp or two as it gives you the ability to see a college campus. Compete, identify the areas of development to focus on this fall/winter. You are NOT a priority for college coaches this year. 💡All of this is easier if you leverage OTR-sports.com Have questions? Text me 215.275.7666 Dan
