Fantastic weekend @Nrw_Cathedral with a cracking sermon from Sam, the Chorister Bishop and an electric performance of Messiah last night.
Lovely to end the day with a well supported candlelit compline sung by the new @Nrw_Cathedral senior boys choir.

Every hour today and at every service we have prayed for the people of Israel, Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon and prayed this prayer:
"Lead me from death to life,
from falsehood to truth,
lead me from despair to hope,
from fear to trust.
Let peace fill our hearts,
our world, our universe."
Privilege to Preach @RNAAuk Harvest Festival and to lead Compline for the inaugural service of the new @Nrw_Cathedral Senior Boys Choir. Very moving and a huge and grateful congregation.

Yesterday we commemorated those of the Royal Norfolks who fell in the massacre at Le Paradis at the memorial at Norwich Cathedral. This is the cemetery at Le Paradis where they are at rest.
Friday @RiponCuddesdon marking Mark Chapman’s retirement. Moving to be back with happy memories of 20+ years ago. @paulagooder & Rowan Williams & Mark spoke of the danger of institutional anxiety & the need to take risks. Very restorative. Thank you.
A real honour and privilege to preach @wabbey this morning for the feast of Pentecost.
It’s been a privilege for us to host the Cathedral Organists Conference @Nrw_Cathedral this week. Inspiring people doing incredible work with lots of children & young people across cathedrals parishes. Really interesting sessions & some light relief at @Thursford
The morning after Ascension Day @Nrw_Cathedral …he will come again in the same way you saw him go…
Very moving yesterday to lead a moment of reflection with families of organ donors for @stjohnambulance in Norfolk. Astonishing stories of generosity of donor families and gratitude of recipients for the gift of life they’ve received.
A privilege to lead the act of remembrance @Norfolkfire on Firefighters’ Memorial Day. Thank you for my ride in the brand new fire engine!

Happy #InternationalWomensDay especially to the fab four I live with, those I work with and my illustrious ancestor who worked to make this nation a more inclusive place.
