GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Cybersecurity is still one of the strongest fields in IT for hiring!
Cybersecurity job postings are at 113% of their pre-pandemic baseline, one of the only technology sectors still above February 2020 levels, according to Indeed Hiring Lab data from March 2026.
Do not Undermine Democracy
I have received with shock the news of an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the emergence of the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and all the actions he has taken. This is unsettling and surprising.
I do not challenge the ruling of the court. The court of law is constituted to determine disputes according to the law. My concern is that three months before a general election, it is in the public interest to have certainty. It is not good to have too many uncertainties about candidates and parties a few weeks before a presidential election. This instability is obviously engineered by the ruling party, just as they have done against me in the Labour Party and continue to do so to close down civic space for a robust campaign. It is also from the same rulebook that manufactures violence against us in our campaigns.
One mark of democracy is that at all times, it is voters and not courts that choose leaders. I trust in the judiciary. As a public officer, I have shown deep respect for the judiciary. I appeal that we protect the integrity of democracy by not undermining the free and fair choice of candidates.
The sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, in the midst of encroaching military rule in West Africa, should strengthen our resolve to protect opposition politics and not stamp out opposition parties. It is because of the importance of opposition to the sustenance of democracy that I have always promised that, as President, I will take a special interest in ensuring opposition parties are stable and thriving, and that opposition candidates are not persecuted out of electoral contests.
This is a time to strengthen our democracy by allowing the opposition to thrive.

That vehicle with a roof covered in antennas is an electronic countermeasures (ECM) vehicle. its job is to make the air around the convoy useless for radio.
The most common way to set off a roadside bomb from a distance is a radio signal. A cheap phhone, a walkie-talkie, a car key fob, a garage door remote basically someone watches the convoy, presses a button, the signal reaches the receiver on the device. That’s a remote-controlled IED.
The vehicle does barrage jamming. It blasts strong noise across whole frequency bands at once, including cellular, VHF/UHF radio, GPS and common remote-control frequencies so any receiver near the convoy hears the noise louder than any real signal so the trigger command never gets through.
It will also kill GPS trackers someone might have planted on the vehicle.
It will also affect every phone near the motorcade. If you notice that’s why your signal drops when a convoy like that passes.
IT guys in the building, what exactly does these equipments do. They've very common in presidential convoys

‼️ Ubuntu and Red Hat still have no fix for a Linux kernel flaw that Anthropic says its unreleased AI model turned into a remote root exploit.
The bug, CVE-2026-98432, is a use-after-free in the IPv4 TCP handshake, rated 9.8 out of 10.
The exploit needs no credentials and targets servers with a multipath TCP listener, which Go 1.24 and later open by default.
The fix reached stable kernels on 11 October and Debian has shipped it. Ubuntu still marks every release from 16.04 to 26.10 vulnerable.
Red Hat now rates it Critical but has no patched kernel for RHEL 8, 9 or 10.
Anthropic has not released the exploit. By its count, it takes 48 minutes to leak a kernel pointer and five more to run commands as root.

🚨 BREAKING: Apple has warned iPhone users in 99 countries that mercenary spyware is targeting them.
Lebanese journalist Radwan Mortada is one. Apple had already warned him in 2021.
He says he doesn't know if this attack is linked to his film on Lebanon's 2024 pager explosions.

When you copy a link from X, the URL looks something like this:
x.com/username/status/123456…
the part you actually need: x.com/username/status/123456…
everything after the ? is metadata for X's systems, not for the post to load.
what those parameters do:
s= is a device and share method code. s=46 means iPhone app, copy link. s=20 is roughly web copy link. s=19 is Android. X uses this to measure where sharing happens and which surfaces drive traffic.
a= (or t= in older versions) is a session-bound attribution token. it ties that specific share event back to your account or session. when someone clicks the link, X can attribute the click to the share, which feeds virality tracking, abuse detection, and internal analytics.
The person receiving the link sees just the post, they don't see your username or account from the URL itself.
X sees that you shared it, from which device, in which session, and how many people clicked it from your share.
Delete everything from the ? onward before you paste.
