Sebenarnya drama Esteban Ocon dengan Haas efeknya akan cukup signifikan buat karirnya, gak cuma di F1 tapi di dunia motorsport.
Cerita ribut sama Ayao Komatsu pastinya sudah sampai ke Toyota dan Gazoo Racing, dan keputusan memarkir Ocon hingga melepas kontraknya juga telah dikonsultasikan langsung dengan Gene Haas selaku owner.
Tidak menutup kemungkinan jika Akio "Morizo" Toyoda sudah mendengar berbagai cerita yang terjadi antara Haas dengan Ocon.
Jelas ada konsekuensi besar, mengingat drama tersebut tidak hanya menutup pintu dari Haas baik di Formula 1 dan project balap lainnya, tapi juga ke Toyota dengan project balap di bawah Gazoo Racing yang aktif di banyak kompetisi lainnya.
Bukannya gimana nih, tapi permasalahan Ocon dengan timnya sendiri diyakini beberapa pihak bukan cerita baru, sehingga akan ada banyak pertimbangan bagi tim jika mereka ingin merekrutnya sebagai driver.
Masih ada satu seat Cadillac yang jadi harapannya jika ingin bertahan di F1, namun sejauh ini namanya belum dikabarkan menjadi kandidat terdepan, menyusul kepastian seat kedua Cadillac musim 2027 yang saat ini masih belum jelas.

Everyone is telling their Kimi Antonelli stories. My best one is bumping into him and his entourage in a tiny Italian restaurant in Budapest last year. He was in full Merc team kit, but apparently went unrecognised by fellow diners, given that the city was full of fans in F1 shirts. He was totally at home in a place he obviously knew from previous visits, even spending time behind the bar talking to the owner. Not his first race, but it reminded me of chatting to Michael Schumacher and Willi Weber in a pizzeria near Spa in 1991. I knew MSC's life was going to change. Kimi went back to his favourite Budapest restaurant this year - I suspect it was a little harder to be incognito...
