This appears to use aluminum—which is very soft—to repair a much more durable steel gear. This would not be effective. The replacement teeth would be damaged or destroyed quickly and the fragments would likely do more damage to the entire system.

I just drove an hour to a random target because the website said they had Switch 2s in stock, I called 11 times to make sure it was in stock but nobody picked up and it turns out the website was bugged and they never had any in the first place
