🗳️ If you support Prop 39 for Voter ID, VOTE EARLY, THIS WEEK! (Before October 17 at the latest.) Then get your friends and neighbors to do the same. Here’s why 👇
✅ Early voting lets you verify your ballot. In the last election, over 300,000 ballots were rejected for signature mismatches, and many voters weren’t told in time to fix it. Voting early gives you time to confirm your ballot was counted and fix any problem before Election Day.
✅ Peace and quiet. Campaigns track who has voted and remove you from their mail, text, call, and door-knock lists. Vote early and the ads stop!
3 simple steps:
1️⃣ Get Reform California’s “Plain English” Voter Guide for every measure and race, including judges 👉 ElectionGuideCalifornia.org
2️⃣ Return your ballot THIS WEEK by mail or drop box
3️⃣ Track it at 👉 TrackMyBallot.org
Not showing as counted by October 31? Call our Help Desk at 📞 888-505-1776 and we’ll walk you through getting a provisional ballot the final weekend.

Dear Secretary Bessent @SecScottBessent,
My name is Everett Stern. In 2010 I was a compliance officer at @HSBC. From a back office in New Castle, Delaware, I watched billions of dollars move to drug cartels, sanctioned regimes, and terrorist organizations. The enemies of the United States. I documented it, I escalated it, and when the bank would not act, I took it to the @FBI, the @CIA, and eventually the @SECGov.
The result was a $1.92 billion settlement. At the time, it was one of the largest in American history. It was also about five weeks of the bank’s profit. Not one banker was charged. Not one went to prison.
I paid a different price. I lost my career, my savings, and my place in the industry I had trained for. I was blacklisted. Every door in American finance closed at once. I slept on a camping cot in a 300 square foot apartment because I could not afford a bed, and I waited tables at @PFChangs to eat. I tell you this not for sympathy, but so you understand that I know exactly what it costs to do the right thing in American finance, and exactly how little the system does in return.
I made that sacrifice because I believed it would change something.
Yesterday, your department fined @BankofAmerica $1.2 billion for failing to report more than $5 billion in suspicious transactions, some of it tied by your own findings to Chinese laundering networks, narcotics, and the southwest border, alongside 475 apparent sanctions violations touching Russia, Iran, and global terrorism. The bank admitted it willfully violated the Bank Secrecy Act.
Fourteen years after HSBC. A bank with “America” in its name. And once again, not one individual charged.
Secretary Bessent, I want to say plainly what I believe you already know. The fines are not working.
A fine is paid by shareholders, absorbed by the balance sheet, and forgotten by the next earnings call. Bank of America reported earnings this morning. Nobody who set the alert thresholds, nobody who decided the 2024 cease and desist could wait, nobody who chose the backlog over the law will lose a single thing they value. Their lives are untouched. That is the entire reason the behavior repeats.
This is money laundering. This is blood money. Money that reaches a cartel buys fentanyl that kills Americans. Money that reaches a terrorist organization buys the next attack. This country has fought a war on drugs and a war on terror for decades, at enormous cost in lives and treasure, and all the while we have allowed the financing to flow through institutions we charter and regulate. Cut off the money and we win. We have never seriously tried.
There is also a question of equal justice that I cannot let go.
Before I walked into the FBI building to report HSBC, I stopped in front of the Great Seal on the wall and read the words engraved beneath it: “Justice is the defense of our liberty.” I believed that. I still want to. But every day in this country, people go to prison for crimes that are nothing next to moving money for the people who want Americans dead. A suit, a title, and a corporate badge should not be a shield from the consequences that apply to everyone else. If a street dealer goes to prison for what he sells, the banker who moved the cartel’s money should be standing next to him.
I also want to raise something that is rarely said in these conversations. Why has no one inside Bank of America come forward the way I did? The answer is that everyone in American banking knows what happened to me, and to the whistleblowers who came after. The last person who spoke up is the only policy anyone believes. That is a culture problem, and it starts with leadership, in the banks and in the agencies that regulate them.
This is not a political issue. It has spanned administrations of both parties. It is a national security issue, and I am asking you to treat it as one.
Three things would change the math overnight.
Refer individuals for criminal prosecution. Not the analyst in the queue. The executives who set the thresholds and chose the risk. One banker in handcuffs would do more than every fine in Treasury’s history combined.
End “too big to jail.” An institution cannot be too big to fail and too big to jail at the same time. If it is the first, it must be held to a higher standard, not a lower one.
And if Bank of America will not act as America’s bank, review its charter. A national charter is a privilege granted on behalf of the American people. It should be conditioned on not moving money for the people trying to kill them.
Secretary Bessent, you said yesterday that these actions send a clear message that even the biggest institutions are not above the law. With respect, the institution was never the problem. The people inside it are above the law, and they know it. Until that changes, I will keep writing letters like this one, and the next bank will keep paying the next fine.
I gave up everything I had to stop this. I am asking you to use the power you have to finish it.
Respectfully,
Everett A. Stern

Okay, I just thought I'd have a quick look after writing the post below - and they're not even trying to hide it anymore.
Some of you may remember when I exposed them (check my timeline), back when IOG asked for ~10M to sell Blockfrost to the Community.
(After the Community had already funded them at least 7 times over through Catalyst and paid them monthly for the service - apparently it wasn't profitable enough for IOG, while Charles claimed they had every T1 CEX as a customer.)
Anyhow, back then IOG wanted to sell Blockfrost to us for around ~10M.
I pointed out a few things that didn't add up, one of them being that we'd be paying IOG/Charles while the company was still shown as owned by @stakenuts and his company Five Binaries OÜ.
Even in the Terms of Service, the company customers would have a contract with was Five Binaries OÜ.
I asked what was going on there, who benefits from the 10M treasury payment, etc.
After a few days they changed the copyright footer on the Blockfrost website to Input/Output in Singapore, WHILE the Terms of Service still stated Five Binaries OÜ - even their invoices said Five Binaries OÜ.
After a week or so, they also changed the Terms of Service to Input/Output in Singapore.
And NOW, after they did NOT get the 10M funding, the entire website is back to Five Binaries OÜ. 🤡😂
There you go, folks - that's Charles and IOG's money grab. They ask you for 10M for something we already funded all the way.
Then, when they get caught, they change things to look legit (poorly executed - it took them nearly a week).
And then, when they did NOT get the treasury funding, suddenly the company is owned by Marek and his company again.
Let that sink in for a moment. At some point we should all wake up and see what's going on here.
Well that didn’t take long👇Too bad for @TapTools

Cardano governance can now govern the dApps built on Cardano.
We just proved something believed to be impossible.
A dApp can tie a smart-contract upgrade or parameter change to a Cardano L1 governance proposal. If that proposal passes and is enacted, the smart contract can verify the result on-chain and unlock exactly what was approved.
The authority can come from Cardano itself not a project admin key, multisig, or trusted oracle.
This opens a new path to decentralized dApp governance:
→ smart-contract upgrades
→ changing dApp parameters
→ treasury actions
→ emergency controls
Cardano governance can now become the authority behind how dApps evolve.
I first presented this design at UPLCfest in “Pushing the Limits of UPLC: Everything is Possible” a keynote about achieving things in Cardano’s execution layer that were considered impossible. It's really satisfying to see this finally validated.

Today, my counsel appeared in California federal court to oppose World Liberty Financial's @worldlibertyfi efforts to force our dispute into secret arbitration proceedings and seal documents from public view.
We argued forcefully that this case belongs in open court—and the Court agreed with us.
In a major victory, the judge ruled that all of my individual claims will remain in open court.
The judge also rejected World Liberty’s argument that all of the company-related claims should be arbitrated, and has ordered the parties to meet and confer about which of those claims should remain in court and which should go to arbitration.
This is a significant win.
World Liberty tried to push this case behind closed doors, and the Court said no.
Token holders deserve to see how projects treat the people who trust them. I believe that World Liberty would not be fighting this hard to hide their actions if those actions were defensible, and I will not rest until the community gets the transparency it deserves.
For those of you who are new to this dispute, I was one of World Liberty’s earliest and largest investors. I invested $45 million in World Liberty in return for $WLFI tokens because I believed the project’s claims about bringing decentralized finance to the public.
But as alleged in my Complaint against World Liberty, after my $45 million investment helped turn their struggling token sale into a $550 million raise, World Liberty secretly embedded a backdoor into the $WLFI smart contract that gave themselves unilateral power to freeze, restrict, and burn any holder’s tokens without notice or due process.
The Complaint further alleges that World Liberty used that power against me to illegally seize my property (specifically, my $WLFI tokens), and then threatened me with criminal referrals when I tried to exercise my legal rights. My lawsuit seeks hundreds of millions of dollars in damages.
After initiating this litigation, I promptly obtained a court order prohibiting World Liberty from burning, destroying, reallocating, or otherwise permanently disposing of any of my tokens.
That order was necessary because, as I allege in my Complaint, World Liberty had both threatened to destroy my tokens and ensured it had the unilateral power to carry out that threat.
I now understand that World Liberty has implemented the same backdoor capabilities in its USD1 stablecoin. In my view, USD1 users should understand that World Liberty has given itself the technical ability to freeze or destroy their assets at any time—and that, as I allege in my Complaint, they have already shown a willingness to use those functions against $WLFI holders.
I am not the only victim of the fraudulent scheme by World Liberty alleged in my Complaint. While it is not my place to share other people’s stories without their consent, others have come forward to me privately to say that they too believe they were victimized by World Liberty, but they are concerned about coming forward publicly to file suit.
I understand their concerns.
As alleged in my Complaint, World Liberty has shown that they will retaliate against those who challenge them.
I also want to give investors a word of caution based on my own experience with bad actors in this industry. Before this dispute, I was defrauded by ARIA, which ran off with approximately $500 million in collateral backing the TUSD stablecoin.
While ARIA was insolvent and sitting on hundreds of millions in misappropriated funds, its agent Vincent Chok was simultaneously launching a new stablecoin called FDUSD through his company First Digital Trust.
That stablecoin ultimately collapsed in confidence, de-pegged, and saw its trading pairs stripped from the Binance exchange.
That experience taught me to look more carefully at the projects I invest in, and it is one of the reasons I now have serious concerns about World Liberty.
In my opinion, there is serious reason to be cautious about both $WLFI and USD1.
My claim against World Liberty is for hundreds of millions of dollars, and I have seen no evidence to suggest that they have the resources to satisfy a judgment of that magnitude.
The market capitalization of USD1 is reportedly $4 billion, but that is user money.
It is collateral that is supposed to back the stablecoins and cannot be used to pay a court judgment.
Aside from that collateral, I have seen no indication that World Liberty has sufficient capital to cover a judgment for hundreds of millions of dollars.
And that is just my claim. As noted, I understand that others could bring similar lawsuits.
Beyond those potential claims, World Liberty’s conduct gives me even more reason to question whether they can stand behind their obligations.
According to public reports, World Liberty deposited approximately five billion of its own $WLFI tokens as collateral on Dolomite, a lending platform co-founded by World Liberty’s own Chief Technology Officer. That reportedly amounts to nearly half its treasury and roughly 5% of the total token supply.
Through that arrangement, World Liberty reportedly borrowed at least $75 million in stablecoins, including its own USD1. As noted in my Complaint, industry analysts have drawn direct comparisons between this circular borrowing and the kind of leverage that brought down SBF’s massive fraud at FTX.
There is also the matter of World Liberty’s leadership. As I allege in my Complaint, World Liberty co-founder Chase Herro previously founded another DeFi protocol called Dough Finance, which claimed to have been the victim of a hack in which user assets were stolen.
But an investor filed a lawsuit alleging that no hack actually occurred and that Mr. Herro personally liquidated the platform’s assets into his own wallet.
According to public reporting, the vast majority of those funds remain missing to this day. As public reporting has documented, many of the same individuals who were involved in Dough Finance are now running World Liberty.
All of these things—my massive damages claim, the claims of others who have not yet sued, the Dolomite borrowing, and the Dough Finance litigation—raise serious questions in my mind about whether World Liberty and USD1 has enough money to satisfy a judgment, repay their debts, or make investors whole if there is a run on the bank.
I believe investors should ask whether World Liberty and USD1 has sufficient resources to meet all of its potential obligations.
Based on the publicly available information I have reviewed, I am not confident they do.
I urge investors to do their own diligence and proceed with extreme caution.

Following recent productive discussions with the Cardano Foundation, AlphaGrowth is committing to four additional material changes to our proposal to further strengthen long-term alignment of incentives.
First, performance-based unlocks will be back-loaded: 30% after 30 days, 30% after three months, and 40% after six months.
Second, we will remove accelerated payouts for over performance. The current performance structure will be capped. Any performance above that level will be addressed through future proposals rather than reduced retention periods.
Third, the TVL observation window will be extended from 12 months to 24 months, while preserving the six-month retention requirement.
Finally, based on DRep feedback, once the proposal is operational in Phase 1, we plan to introduce term limits to the Operating Group and expand and diversify its member composition.
It's time.
The @Cardano PRIME proposal is now live on-chain for community vote.

For almost a year, I have been building a simpler and more dependable way for applications to respond to activity on Cardano.
Today, I am incredibly proud to release OgmiosDotnet.BlockchainEvents v1.0.0.
BlockchainEvents is an open source transaction filtering, pub sub and event delivery layer for Cardano.
It connects to Ogmios, evaluates every transaction against completely customisable rules, and emits only the activity an application has chosen to receive as standard CloudEvents.
The rule engine can be shaped around almost any requirement.
An application or applications can listen for activity involving a particular address, asset, policy, smart contract, governance action, treasury withdrawal, metadata value or DEX transaction.
Builders can also create entirely new rules around their own domain logic.
A project can operate one BlockchainEvents instance and allow many different applications to subscribe to the specific Cardano events they care about.
A wallet could subscribe to address activity.
A governance platform could subscribe to proposals and votes.
A DEX service could subscribe to swaps involving selected assets or contracts.
The blockchain connection, transaction processing and event infrastructure are shared, while each application receives its own relevant stream of events.
This can remove considerable duplication across a project, reduce infrastructure costs and give development teams one dependable event layer to build around.
Consumers can be as simple as an HTTP endpoint.
When a transaction satisfies a rule, BlockchainEvents transforms it into a CloudEvent and automatically posts it to the subscribed application.
Events can also be consumed through gRPC and server sent events.
This allows applications to use Cardano data exposed through Ogmios without installing an Ogmios SDK, tracking a particular SDK version, maintaining their own WebSocket connection or implementing the chain sync protocol themselves.
Delivery is backed by a durable queue.
When a consumer becomes unavailable, its events remain waiting. Once the application returns, delivery resumes automatically.
Applications can restart, deploy or experience a temporary outage without immediately losing the Cardano activity produced while they were offline.
It is also extremely fast.
During a full local Docker stress test, the pipeline processed more than 1,100 transactions per second through the rule engine, CloudEvents transformation, pub sub and durable queue, with approximately one millisecond p99 processing latency and zero failed emissions.
The entire stack can be deployed through Docker across cloud providers, infrastructure providers and self hosted environments, while the underlying queue and delivery architecture remains abstracted from the applications using it.
This project was funded through Catalyst Fund 14 after receiving 197 million ADA in yes votes across 420 votes cast.
I am deeply grateful to everybody who voted for the proposal, followed the development, tested the releases, shared feedback or supported both me and this project over the past year.
A great deal of work has gone into reaching this point, and I am genuinely excited to see what Cardano builders create with it.
Further technical details, reliability results and the Minswap implementation are included below.

I'm voting No on the Alchemy by Sundial x Charms proposal.
I recognize that Cardano should compete in BTCfi, but I'm voting No for the following reasons.
1. The proposal calls itself "Cardano-native," but its core infrastructure isn't. Charms, which handles FIRE/ICE issuance and the BTC connection, is a metaprotocol launched by BitcoinOS and still part of its stack. It targets multiple UTXO chains like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin, and is now expanding to Ethereum. Cardano is just one of its target chains.
It's questionable why the Cardano treasury alone should carry the cost. Once this infrastructure matures, the results extend to every chain Charms supports, meaning Cardano would effectively be funding a multichain project's early development and liquidity on everyone else's behalf.
2. For a request of this size, the KPIs are thin. The only real benchmark is a 30-day average TVL of $60M, with no metrics for actual ecosystem gains like active users, transactions, or adopted wallets and DEXs. And TVL is a self-fulfilling metric the treasury's own liquidity can fill, so it's hard to accept as evidence of success.
To sum up, this has the Cardano treasury single-handedly funding a multichain project's early development and liquidity, without the standards to verify its results.
Treasury funds should go where value stays within Cardano and outcomes can be measured, so I'm voting No.
