Today's Gospel. 10 October 2026. Jesus mentions many things. The one I notice most is where He informs us that demons, once cast out, may return. Return with other demons, more ferocious than the original. One exorcist I heard informed me. That demons enter where invited; not always with full awareness by the host. Remember the part of "Dracula", where the intended victim must enter the lair of the vampire (an agent of Satan) voluntarily? So. Why this matters to me, is twofold. First is to keep me aware, today. The mortally sinful habits, of which Jesus Christ has relieved me, may return, worse than ever, if I abandon Him. The other is happening in more than one place, but let me notice the Americas. I have read how the indigenous people knew about Spirits. They knew, in many cases, more about evil spirits than benevolent. Spirits who did not like the people. These are the demons from Hell, however disguised. They demanded various forms of violence, including sacrificing large numbers of people to these evil spirits. Called gods, sometimes identified with natural phenomena. Why what Jesus says matters now, in the Americas, is included in the fascination with the pre-European cultures. Though the Europeans did not act with benevolence, in every case, they did bring Jesus Christ. The Iberians and French brought Him in person, through the Catholic Sacraments. He is the ultimate benevolent Spirit, Incarnate. Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe revealed this, and indigenous people "got it". Fascination with the pre-European life, I think, is inviting the evil spirits, the demon-gods, to return. This will lead to more violence, more enthusiasm for death, than before. Beware! Jesus Christ is the Lord of life, and of all the Holy and Benevolent spirits. He and La Virgen are our defenders against the Enemy, and his demons.

Today's Gospel, 10/07/26. Jesus teaches the Pater Noster. Also known as the 'Our Father', and also known as 'the Lord's Prayer'. Let those who alter it reconsider their decision. I recommend Saint Teresa of Jesus, of Avila, as someone to whom to ask about this prayer. Part of her book, "The Way of Perfection". Santa Teresa is one of many, who Jesus sent me, to change my life. Change from "my life", to "his life". Catholic life. Which is the best life, and death, and Eternity.

Last week, it was time to put my current sticker on my automobile license plate. Taking the old ones off was my desire. I sharpened a cleaver, and it was the right tool. Carelessly, I left the cleaver on the trunk of the car. Plainly visible, to all. Many people pass by my car, many of them walking their dogs. The tool was left there around midday. The next morning, it was still there. Oh, how I wish everyone could live in this kind of place. Where we live without robbing each other. Not even picking up what could be imagined as an abandoned piece of property. May all theft, and violent assaults, cease. It is my certainty that we shall all be happier when they do.

Today's Gospel. Love God, Jesus says, with your whole heart, being, mind, strength. That is what 'God' means, in any language. Some person, place, thing, cause, group, identity, et cetera, to which you give all those things. This is given to each, so that, when you become aware of this, you seek. Seek where this devotion- call it 'religious sense'- may be properly attached. Seek so that, when, in whatever way He chooses, Jesus comes looking for you, you will recognize Him. Recognize Him as the God you seek. Who creates you. Who loves you enough to die for you. Who loves you personally, perfectly, passionately (celibate passion; equal for each person), and perpetually. This is my Catholic life today. He shows me what I most desire. That without this desire being satisfied, I am doomed to frustration for the lack of it. He is here. True love, now and forever. He sends the Catholic People to ask questions. Such as why do you exist? What do you want? Why?

10/02/26. Liturgical honor for Guardian Angels. Jesus confirms their existence, announced in Holy Scripture. He brings has a child come forward- that in itself is not expected. As I understand it, that was one of many cultures where children seldom met with adults not among their extended families. He says unless each of us turns, and becomes like children, we shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Which is those who accompany Him, in person, then, and since. This means, most simple, to me, depend. Children depend on adults, and are seldom inclined to deny it. So with me and Jesus. Thanks to Him for everything. Including Guardian Angels! My Guardian Angel (and the Holy Archangels, and Holy Angels in general) is one to whom I have very frequent recourse. Angels have only appeared, as described by Bible writers, as men. My Guardian Angel, is always given. Jesus, La Virgen Maria, the Saints, even other living humans, have more than me about whom to be concerned. Guardian Angel, as far as I know, does not. He is a way Jesus 'numbers all the hairs on my head'. This is great! No one loves me, or you, as much as Jesus Christ. Come and get Him! Be Catholic.

Feast of the Holy Archangels. San Rafael tells me, as I read the Book of Tobit, that he is one of my kin, and knows all the roads. He has my back, in all my travels. Saint Michael defends us in battle. Battle against demons who tempt us, and our own sinful inclinations, which demons encourage. Saint Gabriel is the "announcer" Archangel. May he guide me in all public pronouncements, deliver me from folly. Only these three are identified, by name, in Holy Scriptures.

Today's Gospel, 09/26/26. Jesus tells the disciples He must be "handed over to men". A reference to His Passion. This passage says they did not understand it. How about me, or you? Unlike those people, then, we know to which events it refers. Or do we? He says, as announced elsewhere in Holy Scripture, "my words will not pass away". How is He 'handed over to men', today? Various ways, I think. Most clearly, what Catholics know as the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist. He says it IS Himself, and we believe Him. He gives Himself into our hands. Priest Consecrates the bread and wine, Jesus arrives in person. He is given into the hands of the Priest, and then to the congregation. "Nailed" to each of us, for the time the species are within us. Alive and, somehow, united with us, as we take our leave of the Mass. He says He is with us "always". So it is. He remains in 'the hands of men'. The question, as it did then, remains. Who do you say He is? This corresponds to another question- who do you say you are? What do you want? Want more than anything? Need more than anything? He loves you, and desires you, more than anyone else can. He sends the Catholic People, imperfect as we are, to 'deliver Him into your hands'. Including the Gospels, the other Sacraments, and a life of self-sacrifice, known as "Charity", the way I understand that word. What is your response?

09/14/26. Exaltation of the Holy Cross of Jesus Christ. He being perfectly holy, His cross is. So may we Catholics be. He tells us to take up our own cross, and follow Him. What is our cross? I like to think of it as reality. Reality in all its factors. All given, directly or not, by Jesus Christ. This is how I, today, "take up my cross". Basic humility. Admitting that, for everything, I depend on Him. Thank Him, audibly, many, many times a day. Most importantly, when something does not go as I expect, or desire. My own decisions do not always go as Jesus desires, except that He desires me to make them. He gives me Sacraments, and companions, to help me both do good, and to get a renewal of His Grace when I sin. I could put it that He makes me a Catholic person. "Nailed" to Him, and His People. Glad to stay with them, and Him. Stay for life, and death, and Eternity. So great, I can't express, in words, how great it is. Come and get it! Get Him. Be Catholic.

Thinking about Jesus Christ. About the difference between His Divine person, and His human nature. Divine, He can feel pain, but not die. He is not limited by time, or space. Becoming Incarnate, He learns to feel pain in the flesh, be subject, in most cases (walk on water, maybe, an exception), to limits. How must it be, for Him, to be subject to the limits, pains, and death, that His human nature, and flesh, give Him? Wow! That He does this, and for me. Even today, though His glorified body has none of the previous limits, or death, He still submits to limits in space, in particular places. The Tabernacles of the Catholics. He sits there, in the Consecrated Hosts. Limited by space, imprisoned, even. The Sacred Host itself, a small space. This helps me see, when He refers to "I was in prison, and you visited me", this includes these places of limited space. Another way He is "in prison" is when the Priest is in the Reconciliation space. Though He could visit each person, in any place He may choose, this does not happen. He waits, in the person of the Priest, for you to encounter Him in person, within the limits of that space. Just as Holy Scripture reveals, He often waits to be approached. Amazing! Part of the 'Sacred Mysteries'. to which we refer sometimes. How He can have His glorified body, unlimited by time or space, and, at the same time, submit to some limits here on Earth. How He does it, we can't see "though a glass darkly", here. That it happens? Endless gratitude, is mine, that it does happen! Come and get Him. Be Catholic!

Blessed are the poor in spirit. Who are they? Could it be those who admit they are sinners? Who beg the Lord for mercy? Do this in private, and at Sacramental Reconciliation? Maybe, also, people who realize all is given, Jesus Christ is the giver. Boast of nothing but Him, crucified and risen. Sounds like it. The "Kingdom of Heaven". Catholic Sacramental life. The most fun you can have, on this planet. Come and see.

Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary Thanks be to Jesus Christ, for this, and everything. May He send me contrition, repentance, and Sacramental Absolution, and proper penance, and His most sublime embrace, Holy Eucharist. Today, I am limited. Limited because I ate too little yesterday. Once upon a time, I was fat. Now, I am not- another blessing given by Jesus Christ. As a fat person, eating too little was not bad; I could 'stand to lose a little'. Now it is different. I do not have any excess, for my body to eat when I don't get enough. The renewal of my mind, which is being given to end habitual gluttony, needs further awareness. Most days, I eat little enough. Major reductions, such as yesterday, 08/19/26, not healthy. Lunch time soon. Thanks be to Jesus Christ, and a lot of other people, for abundant nourishment.

Humans made, according to Holy Scriptures, in the "Image and likeness" of God who creates them. Yet, humans are made of flesh, not only spirit. At Creation, God is Spirit, not flesh. That humans have flesh, and are created in the image and likeness of God, seems, to me to require God to have flesh. So! The Incarnation! Jesus Christ reveals Himself to be "I AM"- God Incarnate. Now we are all, God and Humans, the same image and likeness, creator and created. He even embraces the suffering, which our sins inflict on us, and, on Him. Another reason why I am glad to be a Catholic. Jesus gives me eyes to see this, ears to hear Him reveal it, and be glad. He sends Catholics to offer these eyes to all.

Today's Gospel, 08/08/26. Jesus chides us, for having insufficient faith. It also reminds me that, for a variety of reasons- including my lack of faith- there are some things only He can do. This adds to my fun. Fun because I depend on Him. Which dependence keeps me grateful, at all times. Emotional content, of my gratitude, varies. Constancy does not. Come and see, and get, endless gratitude. Be Catholic. The joy of Jesus' presence cannot be surpassed. He sends us to offer Him to all.

X asks, "what's happening"? Too much, to list it all, comment on all. How about what is a very basic question. Question which every person who is able should ask, and answer. Is your life worth living? Is the existence of humans good? Before you attach any activity, or lack of same, to yourself, or humanity. The Catholic life Jesus Christ gives me, says: Yes! How about you?

What happens when "everything is free of charges"? Those who provide do not get paid. Who is ready to work for nothing? Who does? Very few. So; no one has to pay for anything, but no one gets paid for anything. This leads to nothing happening. This makes a dictatorship, enslaving everyone, forcing them to work for nothing, necessary. This is Communism/Socialism. Slavery for everyone, in the name of liberation. Ugh. Live by commerce, die without it. So it looks to me.

Today's Gospel 7/29/26. Saint Martha, sister of Saint Mary and Saint Lazarus. She realizes Jesus is the Christ, the one who "is coming into the world", from the world of Spirits, ruled by the Triune God. She also realizes we shall all be resurrected, bodies re-united with souls. So do I. How about you? Gets me to thinking about "love thy neighbor as thyself". Jesus reveals that "my neighbor" is who cares for me, helps me heal, live better, makes sacrifices for me. Jesus is the ultimate "neighbor". He also tells Catholics "I call you friends". He mentions at least three of what I call categories of people. His family; "mother and brother and sister", are those who do the will of His Heavenly Father. Neighbors, as described. Enemies. We are to love our enemies, forgive endlessly, give to those who persecute us, give to those from whom we do not expect repayment. The surest way, as I see it, to love my neighbor as I do myself, is to offer the greatest treasure I have to my neighbor. Jesus sends me, and a lot of other people, to do this. It is what I hope to be doing here. Invite all to experience the perfect, personal, passionate (celibate; equal passion for each person) perpetual embrace of the Greatest Lover in the Universe, Jesus Christ. This is Catholic life, death, and Eternity. We are not hard to find, in most places. Note my invitation to Rosary Zoom, spectators ok. Come and see!

X asks "what's happening"? Whether this is "happening" or not, I don't know. Thinking about what constitutes "the means of production", of which Communists, labeling themselves with a more pleasant-sounding phrase, or two, demand control. Working class? That was my professional status. Few, with whom I worked, including me, had even a slight interest in running the company. Even if 'the boss', as in the owner, or highly placed officials, were much better paid. Even the bottom rung, of management, did not appeal to most of us in what we called "the craft", who did manual labors. "The means of production" are not machines. Not the mines, or the ore. Not the wells, or the oil. Not the farms, or the crops. They are all produced by people. People are produced (we call it re- production) by God, cooperating with human sexual activity. These are the true "means of production"- God and people. Communists seek to make themselves God, and declare themselves the entirety of the human race. So, they demand control. The Party and The Leader must be worshipped and adored, like, oh, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Xi, Kim, et al. This puts them 'in control' of God, by insisting that the devotion, codified as the First Commandment, be given to them. First Commandment affirmed by Jesus Christ, as the First of the 'Two Great' Commandments. Having gained 'control' of God, in this way, they now must control the other 'means of production'- people. So, they must confiscate the liberty of every person. People may only be born with Party permission; State permission, where the Party rules. People may work, or live, or 'own' only how, where, and what, the Party & Leader-ruled State approve. This State may dictate all choices, in the name of 'the People', by which is meant only the Party members, manifested by The Leader. So, if you choose to be a Communist, you are working to destroy all liberty, and God Himself. You cannot destroy God; but you can try to eliminate every person, place, or thing, which might reveal, or even hint at, His presence. This means you must work for a very large number of people to die, go to jail, or be declared insane, and locked up. You are also required to lie. To call yourself, dedicated to hate, death, and slavery, a loving, peaceful, liberator. To pretend that who opposes you is an oppressor; sometimes that is so. None, so far, are as ruthless and hateful as you must be. So. Hate humanity? Hate the liberty, which humans so obviously misuse? Either commit suicide, or be a Communist. Help implement 'the plan'. The plan to make humans vanish, by killing each other, and making sex sterile. A plan inspired by the father of lies, as Jesus Christ describes him. May all who cherish life, resist this Movement, this Religion disguised as opposed to Religion. A bullet aimed at the heart of every human person. However you are able, and inspired by the Creator, the Father of Truth, chose life! Jesus Christ affirms the Sacred Dignity of every human person. Let us all act in harmony with that. Catholic is the best way, but there are other, less destructive, options, at least for 'starters'.

About where I said assaults, like the car ramming, are celebrated in Mosques, perhaps better to say SOME Mosques. Tareeq posted what looks like contradiction to my blanket statement. Good to be corrected, when appropriate.
