I’m ❤️ these portraits of @TheOldGays by @PothMaxwell paired with photos from their younger days. I’m reminded of the words of David Bowie: “As we grow older, we become more—not less—ourselves. We get to the core, the essence, the truth of who we are. Every one of us is a work in progress, and ageing moves that oeuvre closer to fruition. Over time, like Michelangelo, we chip away at the block of marble until the angel inside is set free.” – at Long Beach, CA
