Salem captain Rocco Ryan breaks the Salem High record for touchdowns in a career (43) and eclipses 1,000 yards rushing on the same play, scoring on a 40-yard run up the left sideline.
Conversion attempt fails. Salem trails Beverly, 28-26, with 3:07 left in the 3rd quarter.

Julian Ortiz shuts the door on Monument Mountain in the top of the 8th. Salem’s 5-6-7 hitters coming up in the bottom of the frame with a chance to win it and send Salem to the Division 4 state quarterfinals.
