ALT High temperatures today, generally in the low to mid 30s. Low temperatures tonight, mainly in the mid to upper 20s. Lake effect snow east of Cleveland will be the main focus today and tonight, but scattered snow showers are likely elsewhere this afternoon and evening.
ALT Snowfall through 7 PM today, with 4 to 8 inches across the higher terrain of the snowbelt and much less elsewhere. Snowfall 7 PM today through 7 PM Thursday on the left, 4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts across parts of eastern Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, Erie and Crawford Counties.

Where: Portions of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania, primarily south of I-90 and east of I-77. When: Until Noon EST today. What: A period of freezing rain is likely this morning before transitioning to rain as temperatures warm above freezing. Total ice accumulations of a trace to a few hundredths of an inch. Impacts: Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, and sidewalks will likely become slick and hazardous.
ALT Additional snowfall tonight, with 2 to 5 inches across northern Ashtabula and Erie Counties and 1 to 3 inches across Lake County. Amounts decrease to 2 inches or less in the rest of the snowbelt.
ALT Low temperatures tonight, generally on either side of 15 degrees. Lake effect snow is expected in extreme northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. Flurries may produce a dusting of snow in central Ohio. Wind chills will remain between 0 and 10 degrees through Friday morning before improving.
