Kayleigh and Lauren had an amazing time at @jcartlidgemp employment and skills fair! We have made some amazing links with businesses and young people as a result of attending the event! 馃槉
We just had to share our latest TikTok. We're calling the video 'When Ninja Tag is harder than you think, and you realise you鈥檝e got a second game 馃サ馃サ馃サ' I don't think any of us expected to be quite so tired!!! Thanks to everyone that came! We had a blast! :)
For the safety of everyone, staff and all attendees, here at the Porch Project we ask that you continue to wear masks when entering the Youth Centre until you are able to socially distance and that all hand sanitisation continues.
We were absolutely thrilled to receive a Suffolk Award from Edward Creasy - Suffolk High Sheriff. These last 18 months have been so tough for the voluntary sector so it was an honour to receive this award 馃挏
Our first baking session in our new kitchen. There is some incredible work going on everywhere and it鈥檚 so amazing to see how communities are pulling together to offer support and work with each other to help people during these tough times. #tnlcommunityfund #communitiescan
On Monday and Tuesday we are open exclusively for our young people and from Wednesday onwards anyone in the community is most welcome! Groups of 8 maximum and can you please wear masks and keep 1 metre apart when in the building! WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!!! 馃檪
Our last launch is our beautiful Hallway which we have now transformed to ensure we are utilising the whole building. With charging points and a breakfast bar style seating area, people can chill or work in this area. There's also a TV with all of the latest updates on! So proud!
Our next room launch from last week was our unisex toilets named 'The Thrones'. As an LGBTQ+ inclusive charity, we felt it was right that we had unisex toilets. These have separate cubicles. We also now have a toilet with disability access and baby changing facilities.
Yesterday's room reveal was our new chillout lounge named 'Tranquility'.....just look at that gorgeous colour! Filled with cosy throws, comfy sofas and beanbags, a mood board and an Alexa!
