Loving being back at #sheffdocfest such a wonderful celebration of storytelling*. This year I’ve also had the extra joy of being 1 of 3 finalists in the @AP archive film competition. And it’s been genuinely a little bit magic to see something I made on a big cinema screen 🥹

In today's @theipaper, I interviewed the artist Alison Lapper about love, art, her grief for her son, modelling for a sculpture on Trafalgar Square's fourth plinth and having her life documented on film. She was brilliant. inews.co.uk/culture/arts/ali…

Vovan, the central figure in our @BBC film 'Ukraine: Enemy in the Woods' has been killed alongside 5 comrades in a Russian tank attack. A kind, genuine soul who cared deeply for his men. Rarely seen without a smile. He leaves behind a wife & two sons. Rest in peace Vovan.
