The most misused word in Nigeria has to be “ramifications.”
Here are 10 words Nigerians commonly misuse:
1.🔹Ramifications
People think it means “in all ways.”
But it simply means consequences or effects.
2.🔹Double-dating
People think it means dating two people at once.
But it simply means two different couples going on a date together.
3.🔹Bogus
People think it means “very big.”
But it actually means fake or fraudulent.
4.🔹Severally
People think it means “many times.”
But it actually means separately or individually.
5.🔹Lousy
People think it means “noisy.”
But it actually means terrible or of poor quality.
6.🔹Dupe
People think a dupe is a scammer.
But a dupe is actually the person who has been deceived or scammed.
7.🔹Herbalist
People often use it to mean a “witch doctor.”
But a herbalist is someone who practises herbal medicine.
8.🔹Invaluable
People think it means “useless.”
But it actually means extremely valuable.
9.🔹Nonchalant
People think it means negligent or careless.
But it actually means calm and unconcerned.
10.🔹Stubborn
People think it means playful or troublesome.
But it simply means unwilling to change your mind or behaviour.
What do you think is the most misused word in 9ja?
I'll go first.
MALICE
.
.
.
What you call Malice is Stonewalling.
Refusal to talk to a person and cut off communication during conflict, or anger, is called STONEWALLING.
Malice simply means intention to commit harm.
Nobody is keeping malice with you. That phrase doesn't exist and doesn't make sense in English. The person is stonewalling you.

Six years ago, @innosonvehicles gave me my first car after I won Big Brother.
Six years of memories, miles and stories later, I think it’s time we had a conversation. 😂
Innoson, Let’s change my car !
I think there’s a story here worth telling.
TAKE NOTE OF THR FOLLOWING JUST IN CASE!!!!!!
When you want you to write a statement at the POLICE station or EFCC or law enforcement office;
1. Don't leave blank spaces, cross a line over any blank space left once you are done.
2. Remember to put full stop once you are done writing and sign at the front of that full stop.
3. If you are forced to write a statement against yourself.
DON'T WORRY, at the signature part.
Just add UD as part of your signature (meaning under Duress)
4. It is not a WAEC answer sheet where you must fill up all the page, write what you know only and cross line on the space remaining.
5. Don't agree to write a statement when your lawyer or someone you trust is not there.
If they force you to write, remember (number 3 point.)
6. Avoid answering unnecessary questions when your lawyer is not there.
You have the right to remain silent, cos anything you say can be used against you in court
7. If POLICE send you invitation during weekend, try tell dem say you go show face on Monday as you are out of town for now, cos they will probably detain you till Monday before they can transfer you to court if the matter is the one the type they need to transfer to court
8. Don't forget to share this p0st
9. Sign on every page of the paper, not just the final page
10. If there is a mistake when writing, cross it out cleanly, write the correction, and place your initials directly beside the alteration.
Happy taco Tuesday 🎉

The highlight of my day yesterday was when a guy sent me N1.9m part payment for the 2024 Macbook Pro M4 Pro with 24GB RAM 1TB SSD then called to enquire about some things and I heard his girlfriend convincing him in the background with "don't worry, he will deliver. He even gives free gifts too. I follow him on twitter".
Whoever you are baby girl, you will ask God for one fruit of the womb, he will give you four.
If your boyfriend is Mr Presh, you will be his Audrey.🤲🙏
If you can see this, thank you dear.🫂❤️

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my diary session at sea.
Just me venting about a job I love so passionately.

Do you genuinely believe that some people are destined to be poor while others are destined to be wealthy, regardless of their choices and circumstances?
Something probably happened that you didn’t realize. We call it ‘MERCHANDISING’ in retail.
Displaying goods in an attractive fashion to stimulate ‘impulsive purchases’ from customers. 🤝
Trekked 3km from my house to get pizza at the nearest Kilimajaro outlet.
Got to the entrance of Kilimanjaro store and saw a banana vendor.
Got into dilemma of choosing between pizza that got me out of the house or banana I just saw.
Allowed health consideration to guide me and chose banana. Felt banana, being natural, should be healthier.
Returned home with banana and groundnut.
N11k saving too.
This reminds me of BAT recruitment process, there’s a session where you and your group will be given a business case and everyone will make a presentation.
Unknown to you, the organization usually fly in managers from across the country and assign them to monitor each candidate, whom they will later give their report on, when they should proceed with you to the next level or not.
I applied for a job last week and they rejected me almost immediately. Three days later, the owner of the company emailed me asking why I hadn't shown up for work. I thought he had the wrong person. I replied: "I think there's a mistake. Human Resources sent me a rejection on Tuesday, that's exactly why I didn't go." He asked me to forward him the message. A few minutes later he called me. "Do you remember the man who was sitting at the back during the interview?"

In the history of Nigeria, no bread comes close to Butterfield.
When Butterfield was alive, no bread could compete.
That’s why surrogacy exists and it’s legal (though in the grey area), especially in Nigeria.
I really doubt these banks number of staff. How many branches do they have all over the country?
Cos I know most bank branches do not have more than 5-6 direct staff on ground, most staff u see are 3rd party, especially tellers. And they earn way lower.
Except the numbers are coming from corporate offices
