A massive ‘thank you’ to these amazing individuals who, on a wintry Melbourne night, participated in showcasing our lab at @UniMelb Science week. Proud to watch our team engage with the public and communicate the impact, and relevance of organic chemistry. Thank you. @SciMelb @ChemistryUoM
Proud advisor moment when a graduate student delivers their PhD completion seminar. Congratulations Liam @liamfranov on an excellent lecture highlighting your work on carbanion generation. Liam’s work was published in @J_A_C_S and @NatureCatalysis - next stop: Austria!
A big thank you to Synfacts Editorial Board for highlighting our recent @NatureCatalysis paper. Conveying our gratitude to contributors Benjamin List and Ruigang Xu for the highlight!

Celebrating a week of publications with a paper party. 🎉 Thanks to entire group, the authors, collaborators and Milena for the radical anion cupcakes! @MCzyz1 @liamfranov
Immensely proud of our team (past, present and future!) who received @ChemistryUoM awards tonight. 💥Congrats Luca, Jose, Ann and Harry on your achievements - well deserved recognition! @ChemCaveman,
Very excited to share our latest protocol in @NatureCatalysis for photocatalytic generation of alkyl carbanions - no need organometallic reagents or reducing metals. Starting from alkene feedstocks, it works with diverse carbon electrophiles. 💥
A Herculean effort led by @MCzyz1. Congrats to the team @liamfranov, Tyra, @ChemCaveman Andy and our collabs, @LeNhanChem and Michelle Coote.

We’re excited to share our new protocol enabling reductive activation of π-bonds via e-Chem in @J_A_C_S pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jac… The radical anions promote coupling of olefins or heterocycles with aldehydes. Great work by the team: @liamfranov, Tayla and @MCzyz1.
