Sad to see @Polywork shut down, I will never forget the moment that when I newly created my podcast not knowing where to start then receive 82 guest submissions in a single hour from an opportunity posted there
Truly changed my life and helped kickstarted my personal career

I got an amazing response on @Polywork looking for tech podcaster guests for my Tangled Web podcast
I love the concept: we all work so many different roles these days (me: founder, writer, podcaster, coder, etc.)
Polywork allows us Polypeople to find each other and collaborate

@Polywork is amazing. I was stressed out on how to market @grammableAI, and I was surprised on how many people interested in trying my project.
40 people. 20 scheduled a call. Had fun talks with 5 of them today. I legit thought it was bots 🤡
Let’s see how high this 🚀 can fly

4. Mind your words
You need to edit down long thoughts into succinct, actionable verbiage.
To appeal to a wider audience, some experts advocate for limiting your vocabulary to a middle school reading level and in many cases, passive voice (gasp) can be effective for UX writing.
3. UX writing is all about your audience. Namely:
What are their goals?
How are they using the product?
How can you limit confusion for someone who has never encountered this website or app before?
2. Get to know your UX design principles. Start with:
Miller’s Law - our active memory can only hold around 7 things at once.
Hick’s Law - decisions take more time if there are more choices to be made.
Jakob’s Law - users want your site to work like sites they already know.
1. Consider your strengths as a writer
UX writing is a unique skill that requires technical knowhow mixed with the ability to say so much more in so many fewer words.
(aka your literary prowess is appreciated, but not applicable in most UX writing)
