-Antidepressants activating the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway could accelerate aging, making them unsuitable for MDD patients with dementia.
We also highlighted potential anti-aging treatments for MDD, including Deferoxamine, Resveratrol, Estradiol valerate, zinc acetate and genistein.
