Look, man, work from home is better for me too. Obviously it’s more convenient. Obviously it’s nice to be able to do laundry in the middle of the day. There’s no contingent in this argument who thinks otherwise. Like, nobody is confused about the individual utility of working from home.
But some 23 year-old living in a new city after college doesn’t actually have that much laundry to do. They need opportunities to network, to meet people. They need to be out in the world. They need to be doing things.
They need a world in which to exist that’s outside their bedroom.

Hot take: I hate that people shit on the truth if “Ai Solved it” to the point where they SWEAR the truth is false.
I don’t like AI either, but you can’t just fully deny what the AI has come up with. If the AI says the sky is blue and I also hate ai, that doesn’t give me the power to say “AI IS WRONG THE SKY IS NOT BLUE”
Anyways humans already solved this in 2023, and the slab surely says “Eternal Star We Hope For”

welp, it’s official. they genuinely think every developer at valve is still hand-typing every single line of code. they weren’t joking 😬
what happens when they realize even the best developers aren’t writing 100% of their code by hand anymore?
the cognitive dissonance is gonna be insane. when does the cope end

Another one of your subculture's obnoxious habits is phrasing everything as ambiguously serious so if anyone ever calls you out on being assholes you claim you're joking and call them an idiot. In person too, I've noticed.
you're all so gullible

thinking about that trans girl I knew was very into deep learning and neural networks in 2016. I really hope she kept it up, because with that headstart she probably could've worked at frontier lab.

Some artists spent decades tipping their fedoras calling humans clumps of cells completely absent of any spark from the divine, but the moment their jobs are threatened by a machine they're suddenly very concerned about the nature of the soul and the spirit of creation.

IP laws are not workers’ rights. It literally exists to protect corporations and petite bourgeoisie.
Workers don’t own their own works, it belongs to the company they worked in. They also can’t sell it because it’s the COMPANY’S IP. You’d know this if you ever do prole work
