In game terms, these are resource pools that a player can draw upon for their character's physical, emotional, and mental efforts, increasing their chances of success in whatever they are trying to accomplish.

Coincidentally, the latest addition to the game I'm generally calling "energy" for now. This draws upon Gurdjieff's idea of accumulators, that a man has an energy storage system within the body that maintains the functioning of his physical, emotional, and mental faculties.
