🚨🇺🇸🇨🇳 Trump's blockade is reportedly bleeding Iran $400 million a day.
$13 billion a month.
They can only store oil for two weeks before they start shutting off wells.
The Strait of Hormuz leverage play might work exactly as designed.
🇮🇷 The first Iranian vessel has reportedly entered international waters after Trump’s strong warning and the start of the US naval blockade on Iranian ports.
The ship reportedly turned its navigation systems back on and resumed movement.
This is a direct early test of the blockade. Trump threatened to “eliminate” any Iranian ships approaching it, so Iran sending one out (even with nav systems previously off) looks like a calculated challenge i.e.: seeing how far the US is willing to go.
Why this matters: If the US lets it pass without action, the blockade loses credibility fast. If they intercept or escalate, we could see a quick spiral in the Strait of Hormuz. Either way, this small ship just became a big symbol in the standoff.

The vessel's AIS track shows it operating off the Omani coast in the Gulf of Oman without passing through the Strait of Hormuz from an Iranian port, contrary to claims it is testing the blockade. x.com/Caney_McStotts…

Read something today that put words to why I kept losing on Polymarket early on
There's a piece on Binance Square that describes prediction markets in 2026 as "where crypto was in 2017 — real utility, massive information asymmetry between those with data tools and those without."
That's exactly what my first few months felt like. Forming views on events, entering markets, losing to wallets that clearly had more context. The edge isn't better takes — it's knowing what the smart money is already doing before the price moves.

Here's the story of how the Iran war started:
February 11th. Netanyahu arrives at the White House with a Mossad briefing and a video montage of potential new Iranian leaders, including the exiled son of the Shah.
He tells Trump regime change is within reach. The missile program can be destroyed in weeks. Retaliation would be "minimal."
Trump's response: "Sounds good to me."
Every single one of those assurances turned out to be wrong.
February 26th. The final Situation Room meeting. Vance said it was a bad idea but would support it. Rubio said don't do it.
The Treasury and Energy Secretaries, the two people who'd have to manage the largest oil supply disruption in history, weren't even in the room.
Nobody said no.
22 minutes before the military deadline, aboard Air Force One, Trump sent one message: "Operation Epic Fury is approved. No aborts. Good luck."
