A Texas wedding venue is facing backlash after refusing to refund $15,909 to a woman whose fiancé, 25-year-old Diego Hernandez, died seven months before their wedding.
Posey Meadows reportedly offered to transfer the booking or consider a partial refund if the date was rebooked, but the fiancée sued for her money back. The venue has since countersued, claiming she breached their contract by failing to pay the remaining balance.

HE DIED AFTER BEING DENIED MEDICAL TREATMENT IN GAZA
Aryeh Zalmanovich built Kibbutz Nir Oz with his bare hands.
He left a comfortable life in the city and decided he would go south and make the desert bloom.
Aryeh raised his family in Kibbutz Nir Oz and dedicated his life to farming, peace, and coexistence with his neighbors in Gaza.
On October 7th, 2023, at the age of 85, Aryeh was kidnapped from his home by men from Gaza who beat him with no mercy, seriously injured him, and dragged him to Gaza on a motorcycle.
Hamas sadistically used Aryeh to make a video showing him injured and alive in Gaza.
No medical entity in Gaza or international body has provided Aryeh with the medication and medical treatments he needed.
Aryeh died from his wounds and lack of medical treatment 41 days after he was taken hostage to Gaza.
No representative of the Red Cross ever visited him or demanded access to give him medications.
To further torture the family, Hamas refused to return his remains to his family, and his remains were only brought back to Israel 746 days later.
May his memory be a blessing.

The doctors at the center of America’s first federal FGM prosecution have opened a clinic together in Detroit where they offer school physicals for children and accept seven different taxpayer funded insurance providers.
Dr. Jumana Nargawala and Dr. Fakhruddin Attar were accused of working together to mutilate the genitals of young girls in Michigan. Dr. Nargwala was the one who actually performed the procedures, while Dr. Attar provided her the space in which to operate.
The procedure Dr. Nargwala was accused of performing upon nine little girls involved the amputation of the clitoris and inner labia, followed by the removal of the flesh along the inside of the outer labia. Dr. Nargwala then allegedly sewed these little girls shut, leaving a hole the size of a matchstick for urination and menstruation. The indictment accused Dr. Attar of opening his clinic after hours so that Dr. Nargwala could mutilate the victims, and both physicians were accused of telling victims and their families not to discuss the mutilations.
The case against both doctors was dismissed in 2018 after the judge ruled that the federal FGM statute was “unconstitutional.” Neither physician was ever charged in state courts, and Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs chose not to pursue disciplinary action. Both doctors have since been allowed to renew their medical licenses. Neither doctor has ever had their medical license revoked or restricted in any way.

Indeed. I love that people post this as a response - completely oblivious to the fact that this is exactly the image of destruction that Palestinianism, in prioritizing the weaponizing of the entirety of Gaza, wrought.

it is clear you are a talented person with a high IQ. It is also clear you suffer from the same sick obsession holding back the Arab and Muslim world.
Since its founding - Israel has done nothing but improve its society, its lands, its people, and enrich the societies and economies of every country that works with Israel - from agriculture, academia, medicine and tech. Even simple uneducated Israeli business-people contribute to the societies they move to - by and large.
Einat is totally correct - the core of Zionism is "building" - not in the physical sense- your sarcastic joke about settlements kind of misses the point. What have the Palestinians built??? They had 18 years of almost near independence in Gaza with access to more donor money than any people per capita in history.
They could have genuinely built Gaza into a thriving destination for tourism, an economy, a stable place. It could have honestly looked like a mini-Tel Aviv.... or Dubai.
And yet Hamas invested all that money - tens and hundreds of billions - into terror infrastructure, tunnels, rockets, arms, and lining the pockets of Hamas leaders in an out of Gaza.
You know this surely. Israel had NO bearing on this.
Then Hamas decided to launch the October 7 attack. Perhaps the average Palestinian was against this because of the damage it brought on them - but they were happy to see Israel attacked. Average Gazans joined in the invasion. Average Gazans cheered Hamas on and abused the Israeli victims dragged in Gaza. The anger and frustration with Hamas - you know - is because Israel responded.
Tell me - with your massive intellect and without deflecting - what should Israel have done after October 7? Given that Hamas built such a terror underground infrastructure? Capitulate? take an unfair deal for the hostages and leave?
Zionism does build. The State of Israel - like any self-respecting sovereign state - will f the $##$ out of you if you attack it - especially in the barbaric way Hamas did. Hamas knew that by the way. Hamas knew exactly what would happen.
Rather than chastise Hamas. Rather than say "we the supporters of Palestine messed up - we consistently back the wrong horse - we should call for a change of mentality and mindset and call for deep reconciliation with Israel - we kept cheering on the Jihadists and we were wrong" you kept backing the Jihadist.
And now you're using intellectual sleight of hand to make it seem that the destruction of Gaza came out of nowhere - as if Israel's RESPONSE - was the crime in a vacuum and not a reaction to attempted genocide.
Most of us have no problem with you being a defender of the Palestinian cause - but you are not. you are an attacker of Israel and Jews.
Those who truly care about Palestinians would tell Hamas to pack up and hand over their arms - and for Palestinians to genuinely enter into a serious dialogue and reset of their society - as brave individuals like @afalkhatib keep saying.
But you keep acting the mouthpiece for Jihadists - who wanted war - wanted destruction - and were happy to sacrifice every Gazan and all of Gaza to ignite their holy war.
But surely you know this. Your continued obsession to attack Israel instead of build Palestinian/Arab/Muslim society is what is holding you back.
Israelis don't wake up and say "how can I attack Arabs today" - Israelis wake up and say "how can we launch a new tech company, devise a new medical innovation, farm, educate our youth or at the very least - make money and enjoy life.
You wake up and say "how can I attack Israel and delegitimize it today" in a new and creative way.
Your obsession is the same one burning France down to the ground today. Blame others. Take no responsibility.

1. About half the “Palestinian” Arabs actually in 1948 were first generation immigrants to the area. They admit it, there are volumes of first hand Arab testimony to it, and their names bear it out. Great testimonies by Western journalists, including Bobby Kennedy, testifying to that.
2. A good bit of the other Arabs were remnants that had settled in the early 1900s of extensions of nomadic Iraqi or Hejazi tribes. The Bedouin of the Galilee are largely Iraqi tribes and the Negev Bedouin are largely Hejazi.
3. DNA places the Arabs in the Palestine Mandate mostly as colonial remains of Arab conquest from the Arabian peninsula 1500 miles away. It’s primarily Arabian DNA.
4. Yes, there are areas where Jewish DNA is strong among Palestinian Arabs, especially in the Hebron Hills area. This is because the Ottoman empire launched a brutal campaign of slaughter, suppression and forced conversion at the end of the 18th century of the Jews there. So of course these victims of forced conversion to Islam have Jewish DNA.
5. There seems to very little Canaanite DNA in the Arabs of the area, or anyone. Most of the Canaanite DNA disappeared in 1000BC and fused into Jewish or Phoenician communities.

Majid Nikandish, a true soldier of Iran, was arrested and executed by the Islamic Republic after refusing to open fire on protesters who took to the streets of Mashhad during Iran's January National Uprising.
A photo of his final testament, written hours before his execution, was recently released. In it, Majid speaks of his love for his family and asks them to celebrate his life at his funeral. He emphasizes that only one question remains on his mind: "Why?"
This is the question every awakened conscience must ask today to amplify the voices of these innocent political prisoners: Why does the Islamic Republic execute the children of Iran on baseless and fabricated charges?
