The PSA voters need to hear: A law written by @LorenaSGonzalez allows voters ballots to be counted, even if mailed on Election Day. But this law has been effectively killed for most of the state because of a change at the post office. Srsly. abc7news.com/amp/post/califo…

When an election reform like the Top Two has more impact on voter’s choices than each candidate’s positions on issues… and voters resort to “strategic voting” to overcome or to take advantage of the reform… then that reform has failed. capitolweekly.net/ca120-cali…

The data from @Political_Data shows almost 9 million ballots in as of yesterday, and @CASOSVote shows nearly 9m votes totaled. If you presume Reps were 90%+ no, Dems 90% yes, then math would suggest Independents were like 55% yes, 45% no. Exactly what polling was showing.

According to @Political_Data, we’re at 96% of 2021 recall turnout so far in CA. Literally haven’t seen turnout like this, save 2024 Presidential General, since 2021.

A new poll in the City of Irvine. Do people know about the upcoming special election? Do they know that it is only being held in District 5? Do they know that the state law would say that this election has to be held citywide? Memo: dropbox.com/scl/fi/qearaks6f…

Ok, lots of questions about how results have been changing in CA Congressional races as more votes are tallied. So, I created a new tool to help explain it, providing breakdowns by party, age, ethnicity and more. Here is a video to walk you through it. #CA45 #CA41
