As someone who’s responsible for more people receiving ivermectin for their river blindness, lymphatic filariasis, and scabies worldwide than almost anyone, I can attest to its effectiveness…but not for Covid, nor cancer. That’s a gross corruption from the wellness influencers influencers who purchased it in bulk, repackaged it with their own label, jacked up the price X100-500, or sold it with $1,500 telehealth visits. They then bought off American politicians and went on attack against U.S. scientists for their filthy lucre. That’s the reality.
Now do ivermectin You Gaslighting, psuedo-science, mass MURDERER

Happy Birthday to the best modern President this United States History. @BarackObama, the tan-suit President has more swag than @realDonaldTrump @POTUS has felonies! It's tragic that @DonaldTrump will never measure up to @BarackObama because we know it keeps him up at night!

His conclusion here is the fault line between the parties. It's "who deserves what" versus "how do we serve everyone?" One is Republican. One is Democratic. *All debate* between Democrats should keep this fault line in mind, because everyone left of center is focused on the same thing.
Zohran Mamdani: “A lot of what we’ve come to accept as the facts of life across our country is driven by democratic socialist principles. If today you and I were to introduce the idea of a building that lends out books for free, we would be slandered in the same way that so many new ideas are slandered today and yet that’s the library. And the same thing with the fire department and the same thing with public schools”

Saying nothing is always an option.
I am on the West Coast and just woke up to the news. I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham. Lindsey and I had our share of political disagreements, and those differences were often significant. But today is not a day for politics. It is a day to recognize a life of public service and to extend our prayers to those who loved him. For more than three decades, Lindsey served the people of South Carolina, first in the House of Representatives and then in the United States Senate. He approached that service with conviction and an unmistakable love for our state. On a personal level, I always appreciated that even in our fiercest political battles, we could still share a conversation, a laugh, and a mutual respect for South Carolina and the institutions we were both privileged to serve. Marie and I are keeping his family, friends, staff, and everyone mourning his loss in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.

Hypocrisy hunting is one of my favorite sports. Over 15 months ago, former gambling industry executive Randy Fine was running for Congress in Florida. Trump had endorsed him. Then he tweeted: “‘Palestinian’ is another word for demon.” He wasn’t widely condemned for it. He didn’t apologize. The president didn’t retract his endorsement. In fact, the tweet remains up to this day. Fine won his race and is now a sitting U.S. congressman. On the other hand, conservatives can’t stop talking about people like New York’s Darializa Avila Chevalier, also running for Congress, who has since deleted her controversial tweets. Why the different treatment for a similar offense? Because these people don’t really care about hate; they care about using any and everything as a weapon against their opponents. So, I had one mission that night: make them condemn, on air, their own Republican hate speech. They didn’t have a choice. Mission accomplished!

Scientists have created one of the most detailed 3D reconstructions of a human cell (eukaryotic cell) ever produced. This groundbreaking model, often termed a "Cellular Landscape Cross-Section Through a Eukaryotic Cell," combines data from X-ray tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and cryo-electron microscopy to map molecular structures in extreme detail.

Thank you to the thousands of City workers who kept New York running throughout the Knicks’ Finals run as well last night after yesterday’s celebrations. To the members of the NYPD, FDNY, EMS, DSNY, DOT, and every City worker who showed up, did their job, and helped keep New Yorkers safe: I cannot thank you enough. Whether you were responding to emergencies, staffing events, directing traffic, cleaning our streets, or working behind the scenes in ways most people never see, your dedication made this historic moment possible for millions of New Yorkers. By the time many of us woke up this morning, the city was ready for another day because of your work. I join millions of your fellow New Yorkers in saying thank you.

As the recipient of several of those appearance through @hood_medicine, I can verify that @PeterHotez has indeed not been paid to literally save hundreds of thousands of not millions of lives. He does it from a place of scientific and sincere responsibility for mankind.
Weird pushback on my @CNN appearances, here’s the reality: for my thousands of appearances, literally thousands, I’ve not been paid a dime. I haven’t asked, they haven’t offered. I do it bc it’s important to educate the public about science and medicine and also the processes of science, what it means to be working physician-scientist. I love it, I love the people at CNN most I’ve only met virtually. I think the anchors and producers are good, kind, and ethical journalists, and they work hard to get it right. That’s it.
