You cannot fly your drone within Manchester Airports flight restriction zone (FRZ). An operator flew this morning within the 5 Km zone. He now has his drone seized and faces prosecution. The only exception is for necessary flights authorised by air traffic control (NATS)

A training day for the team 🤓 @Police_CUAS gave updates about their role, drone legislation & how we can support the #drone community. The team have been #UAV pilots for a number of years. We used money from convicted criminals to purchase our drones ⚖️ #RCAT #dronesforgood
