🔪 Knife man tasered in front of horrified shoppers after ignoring request by police to drop knife
Dramatic scenes unfolded in Bradford this morning as a man refused to put down a knife in front of shoppers.
At 10.59am today (Monday) police received a report of a man in Tyrrel Street, Bradford, who was said to be carrying a knife.
Officers with Taser were deployed and the man was sighted nearby still holding the blade.
He was told to put the knife down but refused. As shoppers watched on, a Taser was then deployed and he was detained before being taken into custody.
Enquiries are ongoing.
