Jariko @JarikoDenman is an absolute badass American who took on the challenging of bringing this world record home. He assembled a stacked crew of veterans and pros to support from the air and on the ground. Sen. Sheehy @TimSheehyMT and I were lucky to be in the action and contribute to what was an amazing team effort. 🇺🇸
Huge thanks to all the players..I may not have all social handles so please look them up.

🚨 EPIC! Trump’s soon-to-be head of NASA Jared @RookIsaacman, Sen. @TimSheehyMT, and Retired Army Ranger @JarikoDenman just set the WORLD RECORD for the largest flag flown in freefall, bringing the record back to AMERICA 🇺🇸
This American flag is a whopping 3,200SF, and to make the record even MORE patriotic, the team jumped out of a Vietnam-era Huey from 10,000 feet.
Right in time for the start of America’s 250th birthday!
The previous record was set just WEEKS ago in Libya, prompting Jariko, who’s served in 15 combat deployments, called Jared up knowing they had to bring the record home.
And so they assembled a rockstar team, and made it happen just weeks later, on December 7th—Pearl Harbor Day
So freaking badass 🔥

Liv designed the zero-g indicator we flew on Polaris Dawn. She loves aviation, loves space and has a wonderful family @rebeccaperrotto. Please keep my friend in your prayers. I’ll be thinking about her at @StJude marathon tomorrow--hoping for a day no child endures what Liv has.
My girl finished radiation for the second time in her life. She did not want to ring the bell. She reluctantly posed for this picture. She’s having a ton of nerve pain from the brain radiation and her skin is red and burning from the other spots. She’s gone through more than most adults ever will. And yet, she wants to keep on fighting. 🥹❤️

Thought the night afterburner test pic was cool to share--not quite rocket energy, but looks good.

For those in to the flying thing....we got stacked slot rolls in F-5E, F-5F, MiG-29 & AlphaJets. You can spot the sweet F-5 avionics. We flew some great people, did a Montana State football flyover and getting ready for a project to honor our nation’s heroes 🇺🇸

Congrats to the new class of @NASA astronaut candidates--especially @annawmenon one of the most amazing people I know. A former NASA biomedical engineer, @SpaceX Mission Director, one of two women astronauts to have already flown farther in to space than anyone before, a rockstar mom of two, wife to @astro_anil and a pioneer who will help lead America’s space program into the future 🇺🇸

A lot of flying this weekend as we brought the first two F-5s into the action. Cool shot w/ MiG-29, F-5E & two Alpha Jets in formation--pretty sure that is a first. Even better, my two nephews got some training in and are closing in on their private pilot licenses.

We have been experimenting with some new external cams--here is footage from the first of several F-5Fs flying with AlphaJets. Pretty cool that the entire @inspiration4x crew was airborne yesterday as we celebrated the 4th anniversary of our mission.

Grateful to the thousands who made this possible, from @NASA and the pioneers of the space race to the brilliant team at @SpaceX --and especially my crewmates who took the same risks so two of us could have the premo view. I hope for a future where countless others get to see our home like this....and then look outward to where we are destined to go✨

Since it's Aviation Day - how about a couple of minutes of @rookisaacman chasing Stinger around the skies over Montana with me in the back seat just trying to keep eyes on the other aircraft to anticipate the turns (because anticipating the turns is a massive help in avoiding motion sickness).
