If an ironworker or a bus driver got caught stealing on the job, they'd be fired or prosecuted.
But when politicians do it they get promoted.
I'm sick and tired of it.
Max Miller is knee deep in the corruption.

A document unveiled in a court case appears to show Amazon using AI to track workers and rank how likely they are to form unions.
The document has been released as part of court proceedings between Amazon and Canadian union Unifor.
It shows Amazon using an AI tool dubbed "Atlas" to give warehouses a risk score of between 100 and 900 for union activity, with a lower score meaning it believes workers are more likely to unionize. A higher score is “better” for leaders at the company, the document says.

The term “cartel” now does the same job “terrorist” did after 9/11. Once someone has that label, they can be bombed, kidnapped, or jailed without proof, and the target can be anyone: a fisherman, a farmer, a migrant, or a head of state. But are drug cartels as we imagine them even real?
■ In 2022, Mexican scholar and former journalist Oswaldo Zavala published a book titled "Drug Cartels Do Not Exist." His argument is that the drug trade is real, but the “cartel” as we imagine it is largely an invention of governments. The term “cartel” itself was coined by US officials and the DEA in the 1980s, then adopted by Mexican media.
■ The mythical, sensationalized idea of the "cartel" as a monolithic criminal empire powerful enough to rival the state in reality serves to obscure the US's direct role in global drug trafficking.

Voters in my district have given up hope that anyone in Washington knows or cares what they're going through.
That's why we're in this war.
That's why we have these blanket tariffs.
That's why we have health care cuts driving up our premiums.

A union ironworker just outraised a multi-millionaire member of Congress -- by 17x.
The only reason Max is still in this race is the millions he got from his own fortune and dark money billionaire donors.
We've got 19 days to beat them. All gas, no brakes.
There's real power when workers come together.

MUST SEE: For many years, journalist @samhusseini has tracked down high-level politicos in Washington, D.C. and asked them variations of the same question:
“Do you know that Israel has nuclear weapons?”
Watch as he presses John Negroponte, Mike Pence, John Kerry, the Biden and Trump State Departments, and more about this dangerous bipartisan cover-up:

One thing I've learned running for Congress: there's a reason so few working people run and win.
While I called laid off ironworkers to try to raise money, my opponent wrote himself a check for $1 million.
I'm sick and tired of a system that's not set up to represent people like us. I'm running to change it.

But what bothers me isn't the lies on it.
It's what it's missing: a union bug.

Worth remember that price inflation in the USA is driven above all by the complete lack of federal, state, & local enforcement of laws against anticompetitive, monopolistic business practices -- stratagems to which capitalists will constantly resort if not regulated by the state.
Why are hotels so expensive? A new lawsuit alleges that travel website Expedia is rigging the entire market, exploiting its leverage over 80% of all online bookings to inflate hotel prices in every booking channel by 15-30%.
It's an economy-wide price fixing scheme, not unlike what Amazon does to retail. /

Naftali Bennett has branded one of the most influential Haredi rabbis in Israel, Dov Lando, as “antisemitic”
What did Rabbi Lando say to earn this label?
Lando proclaimed: “It’s possible, without a state [of Israel], to live well with the Arabs… to live, to respect the Arabs. It was pretty good when the Arabs were in charge. It was the best situation.”
He added that the Zionists “made Arabs hate us.“
Lando went on to call for a peace deal with the Palestinians, and slammed Zionism for having “brought the physical disasters, not just the spiritual ones, to the Jewish people.”
For these clear-eyed statements, Lando has become a public enemy denounced by politicians across the Zionist spectrum. The lesson is clear: even a senior rabbi is one of The Antisemites if he refuses to bow before the state of Israel and its genocidal army.
