Mentioned this diagram of consistency models to @nearestnabors at tea last week and figured I'd blast it out rather than DM the link because I'm obsessed with it jepsen.io/consistency

Had a great time at FoC London last week, thanks @Mappletons for organising! Loved the talk from @PokeyRule and my friend @caseorganic who wrote her talk in a notebook minutes before being called up. Enjoyed meeting @TodePond and @jryans among many others. Let’s do it again!!!

This video is not sped up. Updating demo to show off better "Conformer D" model coming in Talon 0.4. This video took 48s, i.e. 36% faster. First demo had careful pauses on "dollar brace", no longer needed. Also see how fast I say "push bang space close tag third lap" at 00:08

Replying to @PokeyRule
@PokeyRule like Captain Kirk controls all aspects of the software & hardware that powers any device he’s using. Biggest difference between Kirk & Pokey? Pokey can crochet while he’s using a device. How? It's called Cursorless & it's a healthier way to code being-frank.com/blog/being-p…

“...a dominant narrative can suffocate innovation,” says @PokeyRule as he explains why he created Cursorless -- a spoken computer language. Read to see why Cursorless just might be able to eliminate employment discrimination. #accessibility being-frank.com/blog/being-p…

Had an interesting back-and-forth with #ChatGPT. I asked it to "make a webpage with a bouncing ball". It output broken code. So I said "that code is wrong. can you spot what is wrong?". Out came fixed code, along with an explanation of what was wrong with the first attempt

Wow githubnext.com/projects/repo… is super cool! @GitHubNext is there a way to access the prototypes of the various future directions? All of those would be super useful for finding code smells. Eg if something is changing a lot, it might be violating open/closed principle
