Bill Maher presents Israeli history for dummies For those who believe all that they have been told my mainstream media or the 'free Palestine' movement, this is important fact checked information to digest Most of the people chanting 'from the river to the sea' have no idea what it means, perhaps it would be best to get just a little educated on what your are protesting

“We need to come together to ensure that this president and the next president have the tools, resources, and support to send a clear message to Iran. Cheat and you will pay. And when you threaten the region and Israel, you threaten America. We will keep confronting you on human rights and terrorism and make no mistakes. We will never allow you to acquire a nuclear weapon. Not just during the term of this agreement, never.”

Iranian authorities must immediately halt any plans to carry out floggings, which amount to torture, against singer Parastoo Ahmadi and eight others in connection to a live-streamed 2024 concert in Qom province. 1/5

Flogging constitutes cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment, and violates the absolute prohibition on torture & other ill-treatment. These flogging sentences highlight the inhumanity and brutality of Iran’s justice system and its role in the ongoing assault on women’s rights.4/5

Impunity for the crimes against humanity committed in 2022 emboldened Iran's authorities to commit further atrocities. Thousands were killed in the Jan 2026 protest massacres. People in Iran remain at risk of recurring & escalating mass protest killings. 🔗amnesty.org/en/petition/dema…

Masoud Pezeshkian, falsely portrayed as a moderate by Western liberal media, is a murderous regime thug whitewashing the largest massacre of protesters in modern Iranian history. He branded the January 2026 protesters “armed,” blamed them for their own slaughter and portrayed them as tools of the United States and Israel after the Islamic Republic killed more than 45,000 people. The United Nations Independent International Fact-Finding Mission determined that the massacre constituted crimes against humanity. Pezeshkian responded by repeating the IRGC’s propaganda and justifying the bloodshed. There is no difference between the Islamic Republic’s so-called reformists and hardliners. Both defend the same regime, whitewash its atrocities and protect its killers.

Most of these officials remain in positions of authority enabling them to unleash further deadly repression in Iran. This impunity emboldened the authorities to unlawfully kill thousands more protesters between 8 and 9 Jan 2026. 2/2 amnesty.org/en/petition/dema…

I’m at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The museum was originally a school in the middle of the city that was converted into a notorious torture prison by the communist Khmer Rouge in 1976. The Khmer Rouge pursued a radical communist revolution in which private property and money were abolished. Families were forcibly broken up, and millions of people were forced into hard labor and work collectives. Those labeled enemies of the revolution were imprisoned and killed. Their family members were not spared. Spouses and children were also killed to prevent surviving relatives from seeking revenge. Some 18,000 people passed through this one prison, where prisoners were brutally tortured to make forced “confessions.” Those who didn’t die at the prison were taken to the countryside to be executed. Rather than use limited ammunition, communist executioners frequently killed people with farming tools and other blunt instruments by bashing them on the head and face. Young children were simply beaten on a tree to death. I saw many, many skulls of victims that had been cracked and smashed in. This is video of some of the original jail cells at the prison. (There were other similar prisons all over the country.) The exterior corridors of this building still have the original barbed wire installed by the Khmer Rouge from top to bottom. It was used to prevent prisoners from escaping or attempting s—icide. These historical evils of the violent left have been scrubbed from history in western countries.
