This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years.
No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

I want to address all the ignorant assholes who have been flooding my posts with thousands of comments over the past few weeks.
Before lecturing Ukrainians about democracy, learn our fucking laws.
Show me the exact Ukrainian law President Zelenskyy supposedly violated.
Article 108 of the Constitution of Ukraine: The President exercises his powers until the newly elected President takes office.
Article 19 of Ukraine’s Law on the Legal Regime of Martial Law: Presidential, parliamentary, and local elections are prohibited during martial law.
Article 20 of Ukraine’s Electoral Code: The electoral process is suspended when martial law is imposed.
So which law was broken? Give me the article number.
And while we’re discussing democracy, perhaps you should read Article 5 of our Constitution: the Ukrainian people are the sole source of power in Ukraine.
Not Elon Musk. Not Donald Trump. And certainly not you.
We Ukrainians know our internal problems. We will address them ourselves, through our own democratic institutions.
Meanwhile, Russia continues invading our country, attacking our cities, and killing our people.
You are entitled to your opinion. You are not entitled to invent Ukrainian law or dictate our political future.
Our sovereignty is not yours to negotiate away.
Read our Constitution before lecturing Ukrainians about democracy.

Elon has now given three different reasons for the same decision. That’s not a policy. That’s a cover story still in drafting.
Week one: Ukraine “violated the terms of service.”
Same post: it was about stopping “offensive drone strikes to kill people.”
Now: it’s about saving humanity from Kessler syndrome.
Pick one.
Let’s take the newest one seriously, since it’s the only one that sounds smart.
Russia didn’t wait for “offensive strikes” to put Starlink on its list.
In October 2022, Russia’s Foreign Ministry stood up at the UN and said commercial satellites helping Ukraine could be “legitimate targets.” Helping. Not attacking. Moscow’s red line was Starlink existing over Ukraine. Elon throttling a few drone feeds doesn’t take him off that list. It just makes Ukraine weaker while Russia’s position stays the same.
He conceded his own point in the same post.
“It can be used for infrastructure that is military.”
That’s the whole game. Under the laws of war, military use is what makes a dual-use system targetable. “Offensive” isn’t the legal threshold. It’s Elon’s threshold, invented after the fact.
Then there’s Starshield.
A military satellite system that SpaceX builds and operates, in the same orbital neighborhood. If military use of SpaceX satellites invites a debris apocalypse, why is he fine with that one?
Because the government pays for it.
The physics is doing a lot of heavy lifting too.
Starlink flies low, about 550 km, where atmospheric drag pulls debris down within years. Most of the debris from Russia’s own 2021 test at a similar altitude has already burned up. Kessler risk is real. “Space unusable for centuries” from Starlink debris is a scare line.
And the speed cap still can’t tell the difference.
The restriction hit interceptor drones, the ones that shoot down Russian drones aimed at Ukrainian cities. If this was about not provoking Russia with “offensive strikes,” why did defense go dark too?
Here’s what’s actually going on: an investigation is opening, a briefing is due November 1, and the man who admitted he closed “the loophole” is test-driving explanations in public to see which one survives.
Three excuses in ten days. The Inspector General only needs one honest answer.
Replying to @FilmLadd
This is indeed one of the main reasons that Starlink must remain a civilian operation.
It can be used for infrastructure that is military, but it cannot be used for unequivocally offensive strikes that make it fair game to be struck back.
An adversary blowing up Starlink satellites would create a domino effect of destruction that would generate a vast field of debris making space unusable.

Check the data, Elon.
Ukraine's 20 richest lost about half their wealth in the war's first year (Forbes Ukraine): $42.5B → $22.5B. Akhmetov alone went from $13.7B to $4.4B and is still far below pre-war today. The few who grew are IT founders (Revolut, Grammarly), not aid recipients.
Military aid arrives mostly as weapons, not cash. It goes straight to the front, and much of the money is spent in US and European factories. I don't know a single person who got rich from it.
The US hasn't approved a new aid package since January 2025. Europe now pays the US for American weapons (PURL).
Meanwhile Russia's billionaires hit a record: 155 of them, $696B combined (Forbes 2026).
You might have mistaken Russia for Ukraine again.
US has not spent $350B on Ukraine. It has spent $132B, $33B of that is money. The rest is $21B in loans, repaid from frozen Russian assets, $4B in humanitarian aid, and the vast majority, $74B is military equipment.
Half that equipment is new, made in the US. The other half is old stockpile equipment, which soon would have had to be demilitarized at great cost. The replacement equipment is made in the US, so the money stays in the US.
Meanwhile, the EU and European countries have spent a combined $271B, more than twice as much as the US.

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

In April 2022, a 12-year-old Russian girl named Masha Moskalyova was told in art class to draw a picture supporting russian troops in Ukraine.
Instead, she drew a Ukrainian mother protecting her child as russian missiles flew toward them.
On the Ukrainian flag she wrote, “Glory to Ukraine.” On the russian flag: “No to war. No to Putin.”
Her school reported her to the authorities.
Police began investigating her father, Alexei Moskalyov, a single father who had raised Masha largely on his own. They searched his social media and discovered posts criticizing russia’s invasion and documenting russian atrocities in Bucha.
In December 2022, around a dozen russian security officers raided their home. They ransacked it, seized their computers, phones, and savings.
Alexei later said that during interrogations, officers beat him and slammed his head against the wall and floor. They blasted the russian national anthem at full volume while questioning him.
Eventually, the regime charged him with repeatedly “discrediting” the russian military because of his anti-war social-media posts.
Masha was taken away from him and placed in a state “social rehabilitation” center.
Alexei was sentenced to two years in a penal colony.
He later described horrific conditions there: a tiny punishment cell roughly two meters long, freezing temperatures, rats crawling out of the sewer, and days when he was forced to stand for as long as 16 hours because the bunk was locked against the wall.
Meanwhile, his daughter wrote to him.
“Dad, don’t give up.”
“You are my hero.”
They were separated for more than a year and a half.
On October 15, 2024, Alexei finally walked out of prison.
Masha was waiting for him.
Five days later, they fled russia.
They first escaped to Armenia and applied for a German humanitarian visa. After waiting for more than a year, their case stalled when Germany suspended the relevant humanitarian admission program.
Then France stepped in.
In March 2026, Masha and Alexei received French humanitarian visas and flew to Paris.
And on July 17, 2026, France granted them political asylum.
Today, Masha is drawing again and hopes to pursue art. She also writes and has spoken out in support of russian political prisoners.
When asked whether, knowing everything that happened afterward, she would still have made that drawing, Masha said she would.
“One only lives once.”
One drawing.
A child saying no to war.
And for that, the russian state destroyed their home, separated a father from his daughter, imprisoned him, and drove them both into exile.
This is what dictatorship looks like.

been feelin bummed about all the tension in America recently 😢🇺🇸
a large chunk of our country hates @elonmusk. a lot of this has been manufactured by the media, but some of his stubbornness is contributing to it
now every @Tesla employee, fan & shareholder has to constantly defend and talk about Elon Musk's actions. it is exhausting. I got into $TSLA to stop climate change and proliferate EVs. I still love the company and am extremely supportive of Elon
it is not easy for me to speak out, because i don't like bad vibes or want to spread negativity. but i see a strong rise in hatred, and incentives to either slander Elon or kill him, or harm his companies. that is bad.
Elon, as a homie, my advice is to chill on posting about Politics. Sure, it's your right as an American to satirical. But as one of the world's most powerful and influential people i think we need to hold a higher standard of discourse. If you think its so important to get involved, then do it, and explain it in a classy, and clear and positive and inclusive manner and you'll be well received. sharing humorous videos about Kamala is funny (i laughed at your post), but the backlash it will cause, isn't worth it. an example of why being chill/smart/calm/classy with communication will be more effective
i love jokes. i do open mics to try my controversial stand up material. there is a time and place of trolling and joking. so i feel ya. but it feels like now isn't it
just seems like if you keep poking the bear, they will poke back. it could get really ugly with Democrats weaponizing the legal system against your companies ... harming all of the hard work you've done. that is my worry.
there is no doubt material damage has been done to the Tesla brand. every time i step into my car it used to be about fun, positivity and sustainability. now (at least in every major US city) my car has become a political statement that is divisive. that sucks. it's like a cloud that follows my car everywhere i go. I'm worried this trend is and will continue to seriously hurt Tesla's sales and brand.
and look, ive been a Tesla shareholder since 2011. Model Y owner since 2020. Tesla is more than an investment for me. The community is my family. There is so much love there, and I think we need to let that shine.
if i try to put myself in your shoes Elon, I get where you're coming from. Biden snubbed you at every turn. Fuckery in our political system is at an all time high. You feel the need to speak up and try and do good. I have so much respect for that, and your bravery to risk it all for the right thing. Thank you.
but as a homie, and investor and someone who cares about you, the employees, fans, humans on earth, animals on earth, and all our nature 🌎🌎🌎 i think it could be time to go back to drawing board with a new communication strategy in the Political Universe to foster more inclusivity and positivity and unity.
sending good vibes and love 🫶 - Gali
