🤡 Ok lets talk about foreign attempts to influence the Brexit vote (apart from Obama telling us we'd be at the "back of the queue" for a trade deal).... It's quite the list don't you think?
▪️ George Soros – Billionaire financier. Predicted sterling could fall by 15–20% or more, making British households poorer.
▪️ Bill Gates – Warned Britain would become significantly less attractive for business, investment and scientific research.
▪️WEF – published warnings that Brexit could cause profound recession, financial instability and falling investment.
▪️ François Hollande – French President. Warned of consequences for British trade & financial services.
▪️Hillary Clinton – US. Publicly backed Remain supporting Obama's position.
▪️ Angela Merkel – German Chancellor. Publicly backed remain.
▪️ Jean-Claude Juncker – European Commission President. Warned Britain not to leave.
▪️Justin Trudeau – Canadian Prime Minister. Warned that Britain would not get easy or automatic trade agreements after Brexit.
▪️ Donald Tusk – European Council President. Warned Brexit could have serious political and economic consequences.
▪️ Enda Kenny – Irish Prime Minister. Warned Brexit could threaten stability in Northern Ireland.
▪️ Shinzo Abe – Japanese Prime Minister. Warned Brexit could threaten Japanese investment and more than 100,000 British jobs.
▪️ Michael Bloomberg – American billionaire, former New York mayor. Supported Remain and warned of economic and employment consequences.
▪️ Li Ka-shing – Hong Kong billionaire. Warned Brexit would damage Britain.
▪️ Wang Jianlin – Chinese billionaire. Warned Brexit could affect Chinese investment in Britain.
▪️ Jamie Dimon – JPMorgan Chase CEO. Warned that thousands of British financial-services jobs could be at risk.
▪️ International Monetary Fund (IMF) – Christine Lagarde warned the economic consequences could range from "pretty bad to very, very bad".
▪️ Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) – Predicted Brexit would leave British households thousands of pounds worse off annually.
▪️ G7 – Formally declared Brexit a serious risk to global economic growth.
▪️ G20 – Identified Britain's possible departure from the EU as a potential shock to the global economy.
▪️ European Commission – Warned Britain would lose existing privileges and face new trade barriers.
▪️ Bono and U2 – Irish musicians. Supported Britain remaining in the EU.
▪️ Liam Neeson – Irish actor. Encouraged eligible Irish voters in Britain to vote Remain.
▪️ Patti Smith – American singer. Supported a public appeal asking Britain to stay.
▪️ Jean-Michel Jarre – French musician. Supported an appeal opposing Brexit.
▪️ Lilian Thuram – French former footballer. Supported an appeal asking Britain to remain.
The scale of attempted foreign interference in Brexit was extreme...
And in the face of ALL of the opposition, in the face of all the threats to force us to comply... the majority voted Leave anyway 💣

You haven’t even scratched the surface, June.
As a keen seafarer, I have been banging this fucking drum for years, but it seems that the politicians, media and activists on the right suffer from TikTok brain - preferring abbreviated rage bait and shit-vids rather than reems of thumping proof that illegal migration is being actively facilitated.
Try this little lot - requirements of a <50m vessel transiting French waters with up to 100 passengers aboard - there’s more, but this’ll do for starters..:
• A French commercial registration, with the titre unique de francisation et d’immatriculation kept on board.
• Proof that VAT and any customs duty have been paid or accounted for: the invoice, the import declaration if it came from outside the EU, and the quitus fiscal if it came from another EU state.
• A certificat de sécurité and a permis de navigation endorsed Class A under division 223, stating the maximum number of people and any route limits.
• Section 223a if the ship is 24 m or longer, section 223b if it is shorter.
• No reliance on a pleasure-craft CE mark, or on UK MCA coding. Those do not authorise this trip.
• Marine equipment that requires type approval must carry the wheelmark under Directive 2014/90/EU.
• Navigation lights from sunset to sunrise: one masthead light, sidelights and a sternlight. No second masthead light.
• One all-round white anchor light if stopped. No second anchor light.
• A proper look-out by sight and hearing, a safe speed, and radar used properly if it is fitted.
• In fog or restricted visibility: engines ready, and one prolonged blast at least every two minutes when making way, or two when under way but stopped.
• One approved lifejacket, with a light, for every person allowed on the certificate, plus extras at the assembly stations and child lifejackets for at least 10% of the passengers.
• Survival craft for everyone on board, with enough spare capacity that losing one craft still leaves room for all, plus a rescue boat and lit lifebuoys.
• A general alarm, a public-address system, and a posted muster list.
• Passenger details sent to the search-and-rescue authority before sailing.
• Passenger insurance under Regulation (EC) 392/2009 and the Athens Convention, at least 250,000 SDR per passenger per incident, with the certificate on board.
• Crew financial security under the Maritime Labour Convention, unless the crew are covered by ENIM.
• A captain holding Capitaine 500, the passenger-ship modules of the arrêté of 6 May 2014, a valid medical certificate, EM II, and a CGO if the ship leaves GMDSS sea area A1.
• An approved minimum crew able to keep the watch, handle an emergency and evacuate everyone, with STCW rest hours kept at night.
• Crew accommodation to division 215 at the Class A standard, and medical stores to division 217.

If we simply rename the English Channel “Keir Starmer’s desk” then nothing will fucking cross it

Can someone please explain, in very simply language, how chopping down trees in Canada, turning them into pellets, shipping them to Liverpool, then transporting them by train to Drax Power Station is environmentally friendly?????

It’s really marked how a fictional tv drama about child violence provoked enormously more outrage than a real life 13yr old filming his attempt to murder two other children at their school.

If Starmer does indeed walk, then by all means raise a glass in celebration, at his departure.
But remember, he is just a puppet, and there will be another one along any minute.

Actually, I would quite like @JeremyClarkson to stand against Miliband, take his seat, then do a Netflix series exposing the corruption, mediocrity and incompetence of Westminster.
Clarkson's Parliament would be a winner.

Everyone is talking about Starmer's digital id cards and therefore no one is talking about Starmer's £750,000 donation 'mistake'.
See how it works.

Surprise surprise., the charity you grew up thinking was wholesome, the one you stuck a red nose on for at school, gave your pocket money to, turns out it’s funding your own demise.
Comic Relief £400,000 to fight deportations, not £400k to feed starving British kids, not £400k to keep your nan warm through the winter, £400k to pay lawyers so boatloads of fighting age men can stay here forever.
This is how the game works, your compassion gets weaponised, they put celebrities on TV, crack jokes, tug your heartstrings, make you feel guilty unless you hand over cash then that cash goes straight into the machinery of your replacement.
They use your decency against you, they don’t care about the poor, they don’t care about the sick, they don’t care about the kids.
They care about using you as a milk cow; your sympathy, your money, your silence to bankroll their destruction of your nation.

This Is How a Nation Dies...
What's coming across the Channel is not "migration." It is invasion. If tens-of-thousands of fighting-age men attempted to land on our shores with rifles, the Navy would sink them. Yet when they come with empty hands, we're told it's "humanitarian." The weapon isn't guns - it's numbers. And numbers can topple nations as surely as bullets.
The boats are not full of widows and orphans. They are full of young men from cultures totally at odds with ours. Each one is the spearhead for dozens more through chain migration. Every dinghy is not fifty cases - it is five hundred futures planted here without consent.
They know it. They laugh at Starmer's "one in, one out" gimmick. They boast they will cross again and again. Why wouldn't they? They have lawyers, NGOs, and charities arming them with paperwork and preprepared soundbites. The state bends, the courts stall, the government wrings its hands. This is conquest by lawfare - and Britain's own institutions are the enemy's greatest ally.
And the government? It shrugs. Peter Kyle says guarding our borders is "not the best use of the Army." Then what the hell is the Army for? To fight wars in faraway deserts while Britain itself is surrendered? If tens of thousands of unarmed men can walk into a country unchecked, the country is finished.
This is not asylum. This is colonisation dressed as compassion. The French wave the boats on. Our leaders stage token deportations to fool the public. And the flood grows by the day.
The truth is brutal: Britain is being dismantled from within, one dinghy at a time. Not with bombs, but with demographics. Not with armies, but with our own government's cowardice. Every crossing is not just a breach of the border - it is the theft of Britain's future.
A state that cannot or will not defend its borders is no state at all. A government that surrenders its people to demographic replacement is not "compassionate." It is treacherous.
Call it what it is. Not migration. Not crisis. Not "challenge." Invasion. And unless we act like a nation under attack, we will cease to be a nation at all.
"Each one is the spearhead for dozens more through chain migration. Every dinghy is not fifty cases - it is five hundred futures planted here without consent."

STILL DON'T THINK IT'S AN "INVASION?"
These are the scenes on French beaches this morning. Hundreds of unvetted, military-aged men charge into dinghies, heading to Britain
Soon, they will be tucked-up in taxpayer-funded hotels. Or HMOs on a street near you (but not near MPs, Home Office Workers, nor Establishment journalists)
No vetting. No ID. We've no idea who they are! #EnoughIsEnough

🚨One of the biggest scandals of our time🚨
Imagine saving hard to buy a home with your partner & kids. Then the house next door gets converted into a multi bedroom HMO & you find yourself living next to 5+ random men (possibly could be illegal migrants).
You then find out there’s a 7 YEAR contract in place.
How would YOU feel?
The scenario I describe is happening across the land. It is; dividing and diminishing communities, making them unsafe, driving down neighbouring house prices & increasing rental prices…
On this topic - Why are the likes of Serco issuing up to 7 year deals? Why are they permitted to offer better than competitive terms to landlords and why are the concerns of residents being ignored?
@YvetteCooperMP this scandal needs to END.
Oh and to the landlords doing this, I say shame on you.
