Knicks Fitness Weekly Spotlight!! This weeks Superstar is @TruePG718 JB is a former college basketball player. That has a BA & Masters in History and a Masters in Health Education/Phys Ed. He’s been teaching since 2012 and coaches at the Special Olympics, HS Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach and a HS Girls Flag Football Team. JB volunteers & hopes to eventually work at St. Anns Corner of Harm Reduction in the South Bronx (SACHR.org). JB is the product of a trailblazing Latina (Puerto Rican) and Brooklyn stud. Without them, he wouldn’t be the man he is today. His father taught him a long ago: how you treat your body when you’re young, is how it treats you when you’re older. At 43, JB is still just as passionate about his health as ever. He hopes to pass the wisdom, passions and experience he’s endured on to the future generations— preparing them for the real world. JB feels the best teachers are our failures. Embrace them; own them & learn from them. The universe blessed JB with two beautiful daughters— he loves being a dad!
