After a dumpster fire of a year, I took some time to learn some new things. I’m going to put that new found knowledge into redesigning/rewriting the PocketBus app. Make it bigger and better and hopefully more useful.

Just uploaded the latest version of Pocketbus (pocketbus.app). Added filter by route to stops. Tap one or more route # at the top and presto, schedule is updated to show only those. A lot easier to implement that I thought it would be. #vuejs #winnipeg #winnipegdev

The one downside to using Vue and external APIs is the cross origin issue. Had to set up a proxy to handle all requests. The upside, I now have a proxy setup I can use with any future sites. Something I wanted to do eventually anyway. #webapp #winnipegdev
