Just emailing with @tmargaritaplum about a cool thing for @LatinxinPub and it just hit me that I don’t know of any Black Latine editors working in traditional publishing. Any of you out there on Twitter?

Replying to @PocPub
@PocPub and the work done there wouldn’t exist without Kait, she pushed me to do it and was so heavily involved. She encouraged so many, including myself in major ways. Any team would be so lucky to have her. She is a brilliant editor and fantastic colleague to have!

Yesterday my position as Senior Editor at Harper was eliminated. I’m heartbroken and unsure what’s next. But I’m fiercely proud of the work I was able to do, and am inspired by my colleagues, authors & illustrators who see magic in our world and work tirelessly to make it real.📚
