Floofs! ❤️
The emotional pain I feel is indescribable. I just cried hard. They were 6 weeks old and now they are 5 months old growing up in a crate, being robbed of their kittenhood💔. They have tripled in size, and not one person in the USA can open up their hearts to these amazing, beautiful souls. They are not food motivated, nor treats, but think I am their forever hoom and just want to be loved. The videos I take speak for themselves. When someone comes by they freeze. They pile up on top of each other, and not given a second look. No questions, no compliments, no empathy…They are the most loving, loyal, sweet babies who need someone to see them. When you have kittens this long their bond to each other only gets stronger day by day. It is cruel to now break them up, but that is the reality. Zeena, Chester, Benji and sister Penny are available as bonded pairs only because I know there is no one to keep them all together💔 I need help. There is someone out there that can make a difference, open up space for more babies to come in before winter hits hard. Share on your facebook,Instagram, Tiktok, Nextdoor, anywhere possible. You could be the one to make a a lifetime of difference for these babies. PLEASE RETWEET 💔🙏

Not the normal intake vet visit for wellness check and vaccines. Stopped eating...vomiting..could be many things in kittens from the street.
More expensive exploratory tests, bloods, likely meds... I know we ask so much, but Priya really needs help. Five kittens is a big bill to cover.😪She will likely have to leave them there for testing and observation, at least overnight. Please help
@gandolf_s if you can.
She worked so hard to save them. Days of sitting in the cold, rain in the middle of the night trying to trap them.

I love studying the eyes and body language of new intakes. It always brings me to tears.
Imagining the exhaustion from street survival when they finally realize there's no more fighting to be done. Food is delivered. Bed is warm and dry. No rushing under bushes hiding from predators, scary humans. Searching for food. Growling bellies from hunger.
Watching them relax in total safety now is acutely palpable. Their little eyes once wide with survival vigilance can now hardly be kept open. They sleep the deepest sleeps.
It touches my soul with the most profound beautiful feeling. Just wanted to express the experience. It happens every. single. time. It's like watching a soul be reborn in slow motion.
I know I'm going deep here...but, it's truly amazing to me🥹
Have you ever thought about what they must be feeling/thinking/experiencing ?

The Forgotten Field Project Update
For days, we tried.
Night after night, Priya returned to the field with traps, hoping to finally bring the rest of the kittens from the second family group to safety. But rescue rarely goes according to plan.
If it wasn't torrential sheets of rain sending the kittens deep into the bramble bushes for shelter, it was a determined band of marauding raccoons staging midnight raids on our sardines, springing traps and frustrating our efforts night after night.
It was frustrating. It was exhausting. And with each passing day, we worried about these little ones trying to survive in a forgotten field bordered by a busy parking lot and highway.
But finally, persistence paid off.
We are so happy to share that all kittens from the 2nd group have now been safely brought into rescue.
(First group was Poppy, Teddy, Meadow, Clover, Aster & Willow)
Their sweet sister, Zena, our little Princess Warrior, has been waiting for them.
Scared and lonely without her family, she cried for them constantly. But at last, they are together again.
Once they were given some quiet time to settle in and we stepped away, keeping watch through the Blink camera, (in video) a heartwarming scene began to unfold. The fear melted away. Soon they were chasing, wrestling, tumbling over one another, and playing as though they had never been apart.
Zena had her family back.
It brings happy tears to our eyes every time we watch it. No matter how many rescues you've been part of, moments like these never lose their magic. They remind you that every late night, every setback, every worry is worth it when vulnerable little lives are finally safe from harm and surrounded by love.
It's the WHY❣️
The dangers of the field have been replaced by something every kitten deserves: safety, warmth, full bellies, and love. No longer lost, but found.
But rescue is only the first step.
These babies now need their initial veterinary exams, first vaccines, testing for disease, deworming, flea treatment, and, if they are deemed old enough, spay and neuter surgery.
With their arrival, we now have 13 Forgotten Field kittens and cats safely in rescue who need veterinary care.
This is where the real work begins.
Bringing them to safety is only the beginning of the journey. Making them healthy, protected, and ready for the future is the next critical step.
We continue to need your help to get them all seen and vetted. Please continue sharing The Forgotten Field Project and helping us spread the word.
Tonight, 13 Forgotten Field kittens are safe. At least 17 more cats are still waiting.
They will need food, medical care, spay/neuter, and, most importantly, someone willing to say yes when the world has forgotten them.
We are committed to helping them. One life at a time. One family at a time.
Thank you for believing in them. Thank you for helping us keep going. And thank you for giving these forgotten cats a chance at the life they deserve.
We won't stop until every life has a chance.💞
And if you have ever fed a pack of velociraptor kittens, you'll know that a tremendous amount of food is, um, consumed (actually...inhaled, snarfed, gobbled !) 🦖
@gandolf_s is in need of food. 🙏

On June 21 Mindy was rescued with her precious kitten Murphy who was only 6 weeks old. She had a home once and was dumped in the extreme heat. Her and her baby were in distress, panting nonstop. I didn’t need a trap. I just picked her up. The gratitude she showed on a daily basis was beautiful. Her beauty is just beyond words, but after posting nonstop since June 21, not one person came to see her. Yesterday Mindy flew to her forever home in Boston and already has an instagram account 😹 It just takes one person to see a post to lead to a successful adoption. Here she is home❤️ Thank you from my heart to everyone who retweets and comments for visibility. It makes all the difference ❤️🫂🙏
🐾Forgotten Field Update🐾
Priya went out to the Forgotten Field to feed and check on everyone late yesterday. Everyone was fed, watered and although a crap life to live in a field, seemed to be resting in their shelters and doing as well as can be expected for strays.
On her way back to the car, she saw movement at the edge of the parking lot...
And, uh, well...oh hell...A new mother and her kitten, not seen there before.
A worker (Bob) nearby said, "oh, yea, uh, that mother had 4 other kittens, but they got run over".
Given so nonchalantly as though she was asking for driving directions. 😡
The mother & baby were panting in hot humid late afternoon heat, so thirsty they were licking what was a brief rain shower off the cement parking lot for any moisture they could find. She noted Bob (on his dollar store name tag)was standing there watching them with a bottle of nice cold water in his hand.
He asked, are you one of them rescuers? She said "yes". He said, "well, you better rescue them, they're gonna die here". Bob...you're an incredible piece of work. You couldn't even give them a drink of your water.
You see, Priya runs up against this kind of apathy all the time. I'm sure all rescuers do. It's maddening. You ask what makes a rescuer so upset...it's this kind of attitude, and non-help.
If he had pulled out a Fiver and said, "Here, let me help you", she would have fainted dead away. But it literally never happens. Sorry to go on about it, but these people...where is the kindness?
And so😮💨...
...meet number 17 & 18 of cats saved in the past 5 weeks from the Forgotten Field.
This is the 3rd adult female, and now 15 kittens.
May this beautiful momma's four other sweet babies rest in flowered fields of love. 💔
We hadn't planned on taking in any more at the moment, as we are full to the rafters and everyone brought in needs vetting!
But...you can't turn your back to let them play in traffic.
Safe now @gandolf_s Little works of art...
They too, need the vet.
If you are able to help?

Life at the dumpster! Just heartbreaking, horrible, misery tiny babies everywhere living like this. No hope. Everyone sees you as they drive up to throw their trash. No one is coming! No shelter to keep warm. Just existing to survive in fear only surfacing at night in hopes of filling bellies from a dumpster. Dumpster diving along with 30 plus rats.
Just give us a few more hours to go under trap. We are too sleepy right now🙄🙄🙄. We heard you were here for 4 hrs last night freezing, sniffing and waiting for us. Sorry we were busy🤦♀️🤦♀️💔💔💔💔
I will be setting 4 traps today for these precious souls hoping they will not have to spend another chilly night dumpster diving 💔 I am deeply grateful for the few donations received, but still not enough to cover one baby for vetting. I have been the most loyal client at my vet office for 15 years. I have given them well over half a million$$. My vet retired in October and sold the practice to another vet who works there that has known me for years. I was always allowed to keep a balance because in the end it was paid. The new owner will have them call me all day even for $40. After 15 years, I am not allowed to run a balance. Everything has to be paid on day of services. So, this has had a huge negative impact on me. Owning the practice has really gone to her head, and it is disgusting I still have to use them. It is all about the money with her not the clients or the animals. The only way to never have to use them again would be to have pet insurance on each rescue which is not feasible. Please share. I really need help for these 4. Thank you❤️🙏

Please...they need to have forever homes!
4 month old beautiful purr machines!
C’MON, PEOPLE!!! 😭😂
THEY NEED HOMES!
We have tried sweet.
We have tried sentimental.
We have tried begging.
So now we’re just yelling. 😂
SOMEBODY COME ADOPT THESE KITTENS!!!
They are beautiful. They are vetted. They are loved. They are READY.
And they have been waiting far too long for someone to say, “You. You’re coming home with me.” ❤️
They survived the Forgotten Field. They should not have to grow up in rescue simply because no one has chosen them yet.
Please, please share them. Somewhere out there are the families we haven’t managed to reach yet.
C’MON!! THEY NEED HOMES!! 🐾❤️🏡
We desperately need the space @gandolf_s 😪 There are more waiting in the forgotten field...and we urgently need to help those 4 six week old babies discovered there just days ago!
And yes, we can help with transport to you.

15 kittens rescued.😸
Only TWO adopted😮💨
We honestly never imagined we'd be writing those words. When Priya discovered the Forgotten Field back in May and began pulling tiny, frightened, starving kittens from the weeds, thorn bushes and trash, we thought the hardest part would be saving them and getting them vetted.
Surely, once they were safe, healthy, socialized, fully vetted and ready for adoption, loving families would come!
But. they. have. not.💔
Fifteen kittens came into @gandolf_s rescue through this project.
Only TWO have found their forever home!
And these babies have waited. And waited. We've never had a shortage of adopters for cute kittens!
They're now about four - five months old and beyond ready to begin the lives we rescued them to have. They are loved here. Deeply.
But a rescue is not a forever home.
They deserve their own people. Someone who thinks the sun rises and sets on them. They deserve the individual love and attention that only a family of their own can give them.
And now there is another urgency.
The Forgotten Field did not get cleared out because we ran out of room.
Four more kittens have just been discovered in the Forgotten Field.
They're out there now. And we have no room. They appear about 6 wks old.
We cannot leave vulnerable babies to grow up in a field beside traffic, hiding in thorn bushes, searching for food and shelter and trying to survive rain, cold, predators, illness and all the dangers that come with being tiny and alone outdoors. We know what happens there. Coyotes and high traffic roads.
But before we can make room for the next ones, some of these babies need to GO HOME!
So I have tried my very best to make them an adoption video worthy of them. I'm certainly no professional graphic designer. I'm just someone who desperately wants these babies to have forever homes and for people to stop scrolling long enough to
👁️SEE THEM👁️😽😽😽😽😽😽😽😽
So... 🚘 WELCOME TO THE GANDOLF'S 2026 FORGOTTEN FIELD MODEL SHOWROOM!
We've got every make and model of sweet cat love. All fully serviced and ready to roll into their forever homes!
And please don't assume you need to live in Atlanta. Gandolf's does not limit adoption to local families. Atlanta, like so many cities, is overwhelmed with homeless cats!
Shelters are packed. Rescues are full. Kitten season pours still more babies into a system already bursting at the seams.
So why limit these kittens' chances to one city? We don't.
For the right home,WE TRANSPORT.🚗❤️
Our Gandolf's babies have found families in Ohio, New Hampshire, the Carolinas, Florida, Missouri, Texas and more. We believe in finding the right home, wherever that home happens to be.
We especially love seeing kittens adopted with a buddy, and some of these babies are very bonded. Single kitten adoptions may also be considered depending upon the kitten and the home.
One last thing about this video.
Turn your sound UP. I deliberately didn't add music. That soundtrack you're hearing?
It's them. 🥹Those are their little purr motors. They love their pets. They love people. They love to be loved.
Some will drive straight off the lot like they own the road, while others appreciate a low speed break in period while they learn their new home and people. As a reminder...all new babies should be given time to decompress and get acquainted. But they're ready.
They have waited long enough.
Please consider opening your heart and home to one of our Forgotten Field babies, or perhaps two. ❤️
And if adoption isn't possible…
PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO.
Share it until somehow, somewhere, it reaches the person who looks at one of these little faces and says: "That one. That's my baby."
Because four more little lives are waiting in that field. And these beautiful babies are waiting for their families.
**BONUS**😻
A generous donor has promised a $150 Chewy gift card to go home with every baby adopted!!
Please, someone love these beautiful souls who were saved from that awful field of thorns and trash with a promise of love and a family beyond their wildest dreams!🙏❣️

A trip out to the Forgotten Field tonight to feed revealed what Priya had suspected.
Kitten-magedon continues. 😮💨
4 littles, ~ 6-7 wks old, hiding in the dark, one of them jumped out of a dumpter and a damn rat followed behind. They don't deserve to live in this hell.
All beautiful little Tuxie's, it appears. We had TNR'd 2 of the feral mothers that were in this area, but evidently...there's more. They hide so well in the thorn bushes we she goes to feed. They have no trust in humans.
There is no room, no room, NO room at the rescue. Adoptions are not happening. Only 3 of the first 15 have found homes. We don't know really what we are going to do, honestly. Squeeze another quarantine crate in somewhere? I dunno. Pockets? Dresser drawers? Priya is overwhelmed.
That's 4 more vetting bills at ~$300 a pop.
There is only one thing that IS certain. They can't be left out there to live among the thorn bushes and the rats. The busy road and predators.
This place is visible from the parking lot. People see little faces, and keep walking. It never stops being infuriating how people can just turn their back.
Priya can't turn her back on these babies. She left them food, but they must be taken in.
Yes, we are asking for help for vetting. Anything that you might be able to help with.
If anyone would be open to adopting a baby their adoption event is on my page and @gandolf_s...that would help us make room!

What is consistent is that we have been invisible for awhile 😭, vet visits, vet debt, all but one person helping on Amazon, donations extremely scarce…I have been fighting Flu A since last Friday and it was taking every cell in my body to be able to move to take care of 33 mouths. Yesterday afternoon the tuxedo baby I suspect to be Halo’s sibling was in the very back of the yard literally trying to eat old bones mixed in with mud💔. I have not seen here during the day for sometime until yesterday. And the last few times caught her on camera around 3am close to the coyote duo. I had enough of watching the suffering, not knowing if enough food would be left if any whenever she came… not knowing if the coyotes would eventually get her. I set the drop trap. 2 hrs later she came, and trapped. She was taken to the vet to check if a female and if so nursing? I was so worried there were kittens out there. They said she was not lactating. So, despite only 2 adoptions in over 3 months a new baby to take care of now. She is tiny, emaciated, severe diarrhea and very feral. The temps significantly dropped overnight but she will be warm with a full belly. Please give a free retweet for help. She needs to be fully vetted asap to help calm her hormones. I will have to trap the black floof next week. 🙏 paypal.me/ppknox
