Dad / landlord / builder. Posting real life unlocks that actually changed how I live. FSD, health costs, training gear. Normal person notes, not guru stuff.

We are launching the Tesla Robotaxi safety report today. Till date, Robotaxi has driven a total of 3.3 million miles autonomously, and has had zero injuries nor airbag deployments. If the same number of miles were to be manually driven, we should expect roughly 9 injuries to the occupants or other pedestrians and 4 airbag deployments on average. We will continue to transparently share our progress with the public using this page. tesla.com/robotaxi/safety

The shoe unlock is simple: zero drop and a wide toe box. I dealt with leg and ankle pain after two ankle sprains, plus back pain and bad balance. Big shoe brands kept selling more cushion. More cushion. A crutch. Soften the problem instead of building the foot back. @XeroShoes for training and everyday. @AltraRunning when I need a little more underfoot for road pounding. Different shoes. Same idea. Let the foot work like a foot. That’s the unlock.

Shout out to @JoinCrowdHealth for the shirt. Front says Uninsured. Back says Fund humans, not health insurance. I wear it and strangers start conversations. Crowd Health changed my life. It got me out from under the helplessness of traditional health insurance. The cost is realistic. Not financially crippling. I can actually afford to keep my family covered without that monthly gut punch. And when we need help, there’s a team that shows up for us instead of fighting us. That’s the unlock.

Tesla FSD (Full Self-Driving) changed my life more than almost any product I have bought. Not because the car is electric. Because the car drives. Long trips stopped feeling like a second job. Without it I skip the drive. With it I go. Charlottesville for Princeton Flying Tigers rugby with my family. The Statue of Liberty. My daughter’s birthday trip. I would not have done those the old way. That is the unlock. @Tesla @TJMonticello

Jessica bought a new Tesla today. Her experience with self-driving was the usual religious revelation. Impressive that a 23 year old company can still generate that kind of reaction.

If self-driving cars are 8x safer than human drivers and we refuse to deploy them because of one bad case, we are choosing to let hundreds of thousands of people die per year to protect our feelings about control.

Two questions I get all the time: "What educational AI tools would you recommend for my kid?" "What adaptive apps does Alpha use?" Many of the apps we've built ourselves aren't publicly accessible yet. Here are ten third-party ones I do recommend.

Buy and hold is not a meaningful strategy unless you have constant cash frow that you can deploy at different levels. Warren Buffett is the king of Buy & Hold though he had the luxury of writing off many investments that went south. If you don't have such luxury, you need a stop-loss, an uncle point.

Tesla FSD is nothing short of magic. Just rented a Cybertruck, picked it up at the airport and it drove us directly to the Airbnb. None of the stress of a new city, new roads, new car. Had it for 5 days and never drove myself. It drove perfectly. So easy and liberating

Always enjoy speaking with, and learning from, Raoul. His “everything code” is undoubtedly correct over the long-term; those abdicating their responsibility in the short-term would do well to put that energy into learning from Raoul, rather than complaining.
It's always great to exchange ideas with my friend @cburniske... This will give you a different perspective and help you stay sane. Enjoy!

I posted these the other day but I'm still not sure people yet understand them... and they are the MOST important charts in all of macro/crypto.... Aging population = lower GDP growth Lower GDP = higher debt to service the aging population. With high debt and low growth, the Fed needs to create liquidity to service the debt = debasement Demographics are destiny until the robots + AI scale (2030+), thus debt up, liquidity up = number go up. It really is that simple with a longer-term time horizon. This is The Everything Code at a very high level.
