Beautiful launch by quantus:native on $NEAR
low float + thick liquidity with Quantum/Privacy Day around the corner
1 bitcoin:native = 1 Quantum Bitcoin

$NEAR’s first quantum safe custody layer?
This blew up more than I expected, thank you to everyone who read it. Since the article went out:
• The near:native listing is imminent. The QTC token contract on NEAR went live on 28 Sept and a solver has already registered on it.
• Price is now hovering around $100 per quantus:native
• Hashrate has tripled with it, and @QuantusNetwork now puts the cost of mining a coin at around $45 to $80
Now for the interesting part. I've been monitoring the Quantus github and there have been some potentially huge developments over the past 48-72h.
Back in July, NEAR became the first major chain to let you switch your account to a quantum-proof key. The switch is one transaction and you keep your account and everything in it, but you need a wallet that can create and hold that kind of key, and today that's one wallet, @MeteorWallet
Quantus built its whole chain on ML-DSA, the NIST post-quantum signature standard, which is the same scheme NEAR adopted in July. So its wallet already makes the kind of key NEAR now accepts.
In the past 72h Quantus pushed code to GitHub that lets a Quantus wallet, including the offline cold wallet, be the key to a NEAR account: open an account where it's the only key, sign any NEAR transaction, and sit as a voting member on a NEAR treasury through Trezu.
As far as I can tell that makes the Quantus cold wallet the first offline quantum-proof signer for NEAR. This is exact gap Near One's CTO, Anton Astafiec (@_bendersgreat_) flagged in May, when he wrote that current hardware wallets don't support quantum-safe signing at all and the goal was "to collaborate with hardware wallet manufacturers to bring new solutions to the market as soon as possible."
It hasn't been tested live yet, by their own notes, and it doesn't cover Intents swaps. But put it next to the rest of what we know:
- Quantus maintains forks of NEAR's core software
- NEAR's bridge factory deployed the token contract
- NEAR Foundation is co-hosting the QDay conference
- And now a Quantus key can sit on a NEAR treasury
That reads like two teams building together rather than a project getting listed. So the questions I'm now asking are whether the Quantus cold wallet ends up as the default quantum-proof key for NEAR, and whether NEAR's own treasuries end up with one on them.
If either is yes, next week's listing is the smaller of the two stories.

Greedy Farmers NOT Greedy Team
This is @Kinetiq_xyz SECOND airdrop.
They gave us free money during Genesis.
You expected 50m tokens for free at $.41? Thats close to $25m in pure liquidity released to the market that would absolutely depleted the token.
There’s not enough liquidity on Hypercore to even absorb that pressure.
The greed here is purely from people trying to recoup @Markets_xyz losses.
They gave you a free arb and if you weren’t on X complaining you could have grabbed it like smart ones.

There’s a lot of discussion around KNTQ today, so we want to make our position clear.
Ascend is fully aligned with @Kinetiq_xyz for the long term.
That alignment goes beyond words. We recently committed 50% of Ascend’s net protocol revenue to purchasing kinetiq:native because Kinetiq is core infrastructure for the ecosystem we’re building on.
As Ascend grows, we want KNTQ to benefit directly from that growth.
We’re going to continue working to do our part to make sure the projects foundational to Hyperliquid's onchain ecosystem have sustainable support behind them.
Ascend to Elysium.

Very happy to announce our tokenomics update, upping our buybacks to 50% on KNTQ is something that will really improve the entire experience of Elysium, the more KNTQ goes up, the more interest there is in Elysium onchain.
Moreover, we are aware that launchpads are some of the highest fee-generating protocols, we believe that those fees should benefit the ecosystem at wide, and that starts with KNTQ for Elysium.

Ascend tokenomics update
Buybacks are moving from 90% HYPE / 10% KNTQ to 50% HYPE / 50% KNTQ.
@Kinetiq_xyz is core to how we're building on Hyperliquid. Our fee loop should reflect that. We're doubling down on the teams building Hyperliquid's foundation.
Of the KNTQ purchased, 60% will be burned, 20% will deepen kHYPE/KNTQ liquidity, and 20% will fund the Ascend points program.
The points program will run across multiple seasons to incentivize sustained activity on Ascend. Participation will be tracked through user profiles, with criteria including staking TVL, trading volume on Ascend, and ecosystem tokens held.
This AIP reflects the allocation we believe will create the most long term value for Ascend and the ecosystem growing on @Enter_Elysium.

Elysium is way more bullish for $HYPE than HIP4. Over time it might even prove to be a bigger deal than AQAv2 USDC rev share.
People underestimate how big of an unlock it'll be for the ecosystem to actually have an ecosystem
$KNTQ is trading at 1/3 $OP mcap right now 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
The hilarious, completely understudied part of @Enter_Elysium is that any asset that exists on HyperCore / HyperEVM that is linked, can exist on Elysium
So the short answer is:
Yes
