ALT Plus Opto has released the Winstar WH1602BU a 16x2 character USB LCD display module with LED backlight featuring the ST7066 controller IC integrating USB-to-UART Supports USB 2.0 Full Speed (12Mbps) CDC (Communication Device Class) protocol, enabling easy LCM control and power delivery. The module is compatible with Windows 7/8/10/11, ensuring easy integration with a variety of operating systems. Mechanically compatible with the WH1602BR (UART interface) and WH1602B (6800 interface) models, with the key difference being the inclusion of a USB receptacle for direct USB connectivity. Operating voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V (typical 5V), the WH1602BU supports an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and storage temperatures from -30°C to +80°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
