I love working on paidpost because I have zero expectations from it.
It's free. It runs on Cloudflare for free. I spend about an hour a day on it. Total cost: $8 a year for the domain.
Still, I have big plans. Once it passes 1,000 users, I'll start monetizing, but through extra features: priority ranking in the creator catalog and/or protected deals via escrow.
Today I was thinking about adding Threads…
How else can you monetize a free service?
Living on Eastern European time on X:
My morning: the US is asleep
My evening: "gm" posts finally arrive
Does the algorithm care about timezones, or should I just become a night owl? 😄
Challenge: 100 replies a day for 7 days.
Day 1:
21 new followers
That's 1 new follower for every 7 replies.
Cold replies theory: confirmed. 6 days to go.
Hey @elonmusk, I noticed you have a few followers.
Ever thought about selling sponsored posts?
paidpost.net: rate card, booking calendar, 0% commission.
Built for accounts like yours. And mine.
My audience is already quite big too 😄
My theory: cold replies, to people who don’t follow you yet, grow an account faster than posts.
Proof: my lock screen after I stepped away to make coffee 😄
Keep replying.
Beginners use AI to write code.
Architects use AI to figure out what to build.
Before a single line, I research the APIs, check what’s possible, and plan the flow. AI makes that part fast.
Code was never my bottleneck. Not knowing was.
Happy Monday! My weekly stats:
7,401 impressions (-11%)
12 posts
Can you spot the 3,5 days I disappeared into my projects? 😄
Lesson learned: on X, if you’re quiet, you’re invisible.
Went quiet for a few days. Game dev ate me alive.
Shipped a few updates to Last Lane.
200+ players. 10 likes. Every single one feels personal 🫶
Back now. Catching up on everything you posted while I was gone.
Day 1 of Last Lane on CrazyGames:
9.8K impressions
0.9% CTR
58 players
70 plays
1 review: “This game is amazing!”
Bottom 20% on every metric 😅
Imagine X without “be honest” posts.
No chasing numbers. No checking stats every hour. Just interesting posts and real conversations.
Would we grow slower, or faster?
Submitted my first 2 games to CrazyGames:
✅ Last Lane — approved on the first try
🔁 Overmerge — rejected, polishing it for round 2
First time making games, first time shipping one. I'll call that a win 🎮

Every developer has that one dream project. Mine was always a game.
Today it’s real: Overmerge, a merge puzzle, is now waiting for review 🧩
Wish me luck 🤞
Growing on X: my strategy.
The fastest way to get followers is replies.
I split them into two types:
🧊 Cold replies (the most valuable): on posts from people who don’t follow me, in the main feed and communities. This is where most new followers come from.
🔥 Warm replies: to stay in touch with my own followers.
My stats so far: 30 cold replies bring 1 to 5 new followers.
I’m still testing this strategy. Follow to watch the results live.
