Powerful 1st-person piece by Knight Campus Dept of Bioengineering Asst Prof Parisa Hosseinzadeh on her long road to recovery following a brain hemorrhage in Nov. 2022. We are so inspired by your strength & determination Parisa and are happy to see you growing stronger every day
A brain haemorrhage late in pregnancy upended Parisa Hosseinzadeh’s life — and her tenure clock. Thanks to supportive physicians, family and colleagues, she’s restarting her academic career. go.nature.com/3LCnFUl
