Nick Ciuffo helps his chances of making the team as backup catcher. A 2-out RBI single.
So apparently this is interference/obstruction today in the @CofCBaseball game. The runner wasn’t close as you can see the ball running off the glove of the fielder. @CAASports this should not have happened. Changed the game.

Fall world series opener at @CofCBaseball, fun matchup between the Cougars' top two arms. Veteran LHP Jordan Carr can really pitch, showing advanced feel for a quality four-pitch mix, getting Ks with the 88-90 fastball, the sharp high-70s slider, even a good left-on-left change.
Make sure you wash your soap/ sanitizer bottle after you wash your hands since you touched it first ...

Rangers catcher Nick Ciuffo contemplated retirement after getting released last summer. He lined up a job as a college baseball coach.
Now, after completely revamping his entire offensive approach, Ciuffo is working his way up the depth chart: dallasnews.com/sports/ranger…

Chris Woodward went out of his way this morning to praise non-roster catcher Nick Ciuffo, who he said a lot of people wrote off after 2019.
Woodward guaranteed his numbers would improve, based on what he's seen from spring, and said Ciuffo's forcing his way up the depth chart.

I know there is a major league organization out there that needs a catcher that threw out 50% of baserunners, batted 320 with 15 HR. And also has great character and work ethic. Your org will be better if you sign Danny Wondrack @CofCBaseball true foxhole guy! @Wondrack9

@CofCBaseball up 9-8 on The Citadel. 2 Outs. 9th inning. Bulldogs at the dish.... It is high... It is far....It is...
This is LITERALLY the final play that 5th year senior Bradley Dixon will ever play at Patriots Point. It's a play he'll remember forever.

BALLGAME!!! Ocker ranges off the mound to field the slow roller, and he dives into the bag at first for the out. The Cougars survive to up-end the Chanticleers!
Huge weekend. Cougs prove themselves early #cougsontop#YMD
