As a sport and society nerd, the film is a tour de force of sport and coaching for positive youth development; it also pulls back the veil on the experience of Asians and immigrant families in sport, who struggle with bias and stereotype.

They beautifully capture the core struggles of so many high school athletes -- overcoming injury, responding to performance #pressure , and learning to manage emotions while becoming a team captain.

I came across this inspiring #documentary in March at @SXSWEDU in Austin. I think of it as the coming-of-age-through-basketball story of Ashley Chea, a Cambodian-American hooper from SoCal.
