Preparing for an ERC grant is about more than writing a strong proposal.
How can mentoring, visiting fellowships and national and institutional support help researchers become better prepared for ERC?

10 PhD Student positions available in Plant Ecological Genetics Programme including one in my lab on the molecular basis of evolutionary adaptation to calcareous (high-pH) soils in Arabidopsis halleri.
Congratulations to our PhD students Bipasha Chakrabarty and Menghan Zhao for obtaining poster prizes at the 22nd ISINIP 2026 in Kanazawa, Japan!
Congratulations to Gen Yang! The first publication of his PhD is out as part of TRR 341 „Plant Ecological Genetics“. Try something new and plant biology surprises you once again:

🛑 Some 🌱 have the remarkable ability to tolerate and accumulate ☣️ metals.
Below 👇🏼 we present evidence that this trait depends on co-option of the circadian 🕰️ machinery❗
Co-option of 🕰️ proteins governs enhanced and time-dependent expression of metal-accumulation genes❗
Cis-regulatory elements co-opting core circadian clock regulator CCA1 underlie enhanced expression of HMA4 for metal hyperaccumulation in Arabidopsis halleri #research #PlantCommunications cell.com/plant-communication…

🧵1/13 Erinnert Ihr Euch an die KI-Bilder der „All Eyes on Rafah“-Kampagne?
