So I posted something express24 with guarantee on Saturday with @parcelforce and it’s gone missing, no tracking updates or anything. That’s what £14.50 postage gets you!
Just been in the most shady looking @coopuk I’ve seen with really expensive products. Upon closer inspection it’s “proud to stock co-op” goods. What a way to piss away your brand and good will.

“I asked a few AI researchers whether they could name any other real-world software that scales so poorly. None of them could think of any. Even outside the world of software, it’s hard to find a comparable example, given that economy of scale is the principle that has made light bulbs, cars, and clothing so affordable. By economic and engineering measures, generative AI might be the worst technology ever deployed” @_alexreisner @TheAtlantic

Every other day a new motorhome appears in my mother-in-law's drive and Neil hands me another bucket full of jewellery and cosmetics. I can only assume he's got himself a part time job I'm too busy to ask about.
The way @metroline have treated the hero bus driver is awful. The person who did the tribunal believed the mugger was going back to apologise and shake hands?! What planet is she on?

Incredible… the story is actually not a parody.
just had confirmed live on BBC Breakfast, from here in Davos, that yes, President Trump sent THAT note to the Norwegian PM saying that because they hadn’t given the Nobel Peace Prize, he could now justify owning Greenland.
Fucking hell the Apple Music UI is awful on MacOS. Want to access a scrubbing UI? wander your mouse to the tiny special knowledge area of the track info, click to make a timeline appear then drag...FFS, Back to Spotify it is then. Clowns.

What possible justification can there be for charging graduates earning over £50k 6.2% interest, while their peers earning less are only charged 3.2% (and the BoE base rate is 4%)
This feels like the kind of thing Wonga would do, not the British state

So triple-locked pensions and benefits rise with inflation -- but not tax thresholds or student loan repayment levels? That seems weird to me, totally unequal fiscal drag on working people vs recipients of state spending.

Every second a Labour MP spends campaigning for a wealth tax is a second that could be spent campaigning for real tax reform that could make the tax system fairer, boost economic growth and (unlike the wealth tax) actually happen.

Graham Linehan says he was arrested at the airport by five armed police officers as if he's a terrorist - for 3 tweets. The video I posted yesterday is very relevant. Whatever you think of @glinner's opinions, if true, this is horrifying overreach. grahamlinehan.substack.com/p…

It doesn't matter what you think of Graham Linehan's views, this is an insane level of overreach and a complete waste of police time.
Five armed police arrest a comedy writer (@glinner) at the airport for three tweets. These tweets contained no threats, no incitement, nothing of the sort. Those who consider this a win should think carefully how enabling this kind of overreach will ALWAYS bite you in the arse. Utterly ridiculous by any measure.
