The role of street trees 🌳in reducing flash-flooding🌊
Simply, they SLOW THE RATE🏃♂️rainwater builds up in our streets 👇
🫴Holding water in their canopies
🧽 Roots enable the ground to absorb more water
Plus 🌳🌳🌳they cool our cities, thus lowering air moisture. Pretty cool😎 – at Kingston upon Thames, London

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.
ALL ROAD USERS.
And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. For sharrows, it’s safer to NOT have them.
