I see a lot of people adopting the βtransβ label in the same way as βpunkβ or βaltβ in that they see being trans solely as being subversive to societyβs gender standards and as a political anti-establishment ideology rather than a genuine human condition.

One thing I admire about transgenders, particularly if they're from the third-world, is their internationalism & total rejection of petty-chauvinism. The societal superstructures of the nations they live in already rejects them, they have nothing to lose by rejecting them back.
