It's alive!
... Relative to non-re-animated Skeletons at least!
You can wishlist My Littlest Skeleton on Steam right NOW.
Which is definitely something you should do.

This account is now major updates only.
If you want work in progress updates or to generally interact with me, I'm over here.
I'm really active over here.
Posting about Gamedev and Skeles and other bits I've got going on.
The bonus is you'll actually see the posts too.
A while back I tried to replicate the Silent Hill 1 PSX aesthetic as closely as I could in Unity, how did I do?
What an odd thing to say
Bloober Team has said it’s aware of the mixed reputation of some of its previous titles and that the company is done making “shitty” games.

Posting about my current game dev projects over on the butterfly app. I actually get engagement and feedback over because people actually see my posts.
Mostly lurking here and post about inconsequential things until some government entity takes over and shuts it all down
If you're up for some crunchy psx indie horror
I made a short atmospheric thing for a game jam a few years ago.
It was a personal challenge to make it as crunchy looking as I could
It's about being lost in the Irish woods, which means fairies...

Skeleton Trivia: If your Skeleton is on the outside, it is called an Exoskeleton.
When it gets into your house while you're sleeping, it's an Endoskeleton.

I'm posting more gamedev updates over here nowadays, with more to come
2023 Amy would never believe I'm saying this, but... yeees!
Do both.
Silent Hill 2 Remake developer Bloober Team is open to making more remakes in the franchise or even a new Silent Hill game altogether. bit.ly/3YstzyA
The thing I noticed about the remake is the levels are designed and signposted well enough that I pretty much knew my way around after the first 10 mins or so in each area.
But I still kept checking my emotional support map regardless.
I was wondering how they got the lighting to hit so well and silhouette on his helmet to appear so rusty. I figured you couldn't do that stuff with normal mapping alone.
It's interesting how they got the topology right where they need it looking at the middle of the helmet.
It's also one of the best instances of gameplay, symbolism and narrative being completely and totally synchronised I've seen in a video game.
It is without hyperbole probably one of the best and most personally affecting sequences of any game I've ever played.
In the Silent Hill 2 Remake, Maria is wearing a bracelet, with a dark crescent moon connected to a cross.
This is the "Black Moon Lilith". In astrology, it is a part of your birth chart that reveals hidden or taboo aspects of your personality. A hidden shadow side of yourself.
The Hebrew repsenentation of Lilith also appears in the bathroom at the very start of the game, it's there in the Original as well as the remake.
