A few years ago this Frankenstein piece was hanging in my friend Henry Hui’s living room here in Houston. a year before he passed he sold his entire collection to a guy in the UK. Which I see then went straight to George Lucas. I’m very happy it landed here because like Indiana Jones said “It belongs in a Museum!” Where everyone can appreciate it.

My current, default Illustrator lettering template. Whenever I start a new project, I decide which style of assets will look best with the art, (e.g., which style of radio balloons, which shout balloons, etc.) and delete the rest before saving as the template for that project.

Trying to be a bit more heavy on the inks and make everything work just with flat colors. Practicing just drawing characters and anatomy for a whole month really did wonders for my work speed, never been much of a character artist but it feels good. Also getting ready to work on Tyger Blue again! (got like 35 pages ready for inks).
