I decided to recolor my Mona Lisa to more closely match the current da Vinci version - with its faded colors and yellowing varnish. It's still based on the Prado version I made, thus it retains those differences (eyebrows, ect.). #pixelart

SPAFF8 is a palette that is near and dear to me. I managed to create a few oddities with it, even though this palette was intentionally made to be horrible. It's extremely challenging and has a lot of untapped potential. Also a great learning tool. #pixelart #spaff8

I've been enjoying using Tiled lately. I made two similar scenes using pixel cubes in two different perspectives. The top being isometric, and the bottom oblique. The creation each presented its own challenges. palette: Island Joy 16 #pixelart #islandjoy16

I'm seeing a lot of great pixel art get completely destroyed by JPG compression due to the artist uploading as JPG and twitter further compressing it. Mostly Photoshop and Procreate users. Before uploading, make sure your pixel art is in indexed mode and export as PNG #pixelart

This is important because twitter does not compress Indexed PNG's, otherwise known as PNG8. The only time I upload as a JPG is with 1bit work, because in its indexed form, the twitter preview is awful. It needs a bit of compression to look nice. Your results may vary.
