Just watched "Whalefall". Loved the concept and visuals of the film! Now we definitely have to let players get swallowed whole by the whale boss in Earth Atlantis Abyss! 🐋 #クジラに落ちた男 #STG #RETROGAMING

We want every Earth Atlantis game to look and feel different, with its own unique identity. It wasn't easy to start from scratch with Earth Atlantis 2 and build an entirely new pixel art style. For Earth Atlantis Abyss, we wanted to take things in a different direction again. We embraced the darkness and mystery of the deep sea, creating a distinct atmosphere that contrasts with the clearer, more vibrant world of Earth Atlantis 2. #STG #indiegame

One of the big differences in Earth Atlantis Abyss compared to Earth Atlantis 1 and 2 is multiplayer! We’re building both co-op and versus, and aiming to support both local and online play, so you can take on bosses with friends. #STG #Retrogaming

Picked up these two model kits while we were in Japan for Tokyo Game Show. Guess we’ll be adding a Hammerhead Shark and a Manta Ray to our boss roster. #STG #Shmup

Thanks, everyone, for participating in our quiz! We just wanted to see if it was too obvious that this new boss we’re working on takes heavy inspiration from a classic shmup on the list—and even more directly from The Bitmap Brothers Xenon 2: Megablast, which wasn’t on the list. The answer is E ! Seems like it’s not obvious enough for most people to recognize where this boss came from—which is great, because it’ll look totally original.😀 We’ve hidden a hundred homages and references to classic STG and retro games here and there throughout the game. We’ll PM 6 who got it right—and 3 lucky ones who got it wrong too. Wait for the next post! #Retrogaming #Indiegame
