So just because the Mariners won the series, Dan Wilson and the front office think it's ok to literally just throw the game??? Like what are they even doing? Do they realize that if the Mariners lose this game and the Astros and Rangers win their games, they will actually be at a net negative off this series by 0.5 games? The Mariners were 3 games back from the division, and if it goes the way I expect, they will be 3.5 games back. Now if the Mariners had already secured the division and top seed then I can understand, BUT NOT WHEN IT'S NOT EVEN SEPTEMBER YET...... such complete arrogance and incompetence by Dan Wilson, Jerry Dipoto, and Justin Hollander. Have they realized that the Mariners have missed the playoffs by 1 game literally in 2014, 2021, 2023, and 2024???? Do they realize that every game counts???? These kinds of practices are how the Mariners miss the playoffs by just throwing the final game of a series because they "won the series". I am so frustrated with this lineup that I forgot that the Mariners even won the last two games against the Phillies. This is going to be a disaster for sure, but of course, the mainstream narrative is going to be "aT lEaSt ThE mArInErS wOn ThE sErIeS" Guys like Patrick Wisdom and Weston Wilson have no reason to be on this team right now as the Mariners are trying to make a final push towards the playoffs. Cole Young and Josh Naylor should be playing today, not doing these stupid load management platoon practices........... And plus THE MARINERS DON'T EVEN PLAY TOMORROW ANYWAY, THEY HAVE A DAY OFF BEFORE THE TORONTO SERIES...............
